Where will you watch the France game?
i have to watch it in hospital, getting my tonsils out on wednesday!!!! :(
Can't get hold of a ticket for this one :( ,so as the option says,I'll be at home concentrating, with a few tinnies of course :D .Can't be arsed going to the pub, unless I was guaranteed a good seat with plenty of good lounge boys and girls, theres too much talking and banter going on in the pub and you end up missing half the action, especially when some drunk fool that has never been to a match in his life starts shouting his opinion in your lughole.
Here in Turin, Italy, I'll watch it in a pub. I hope there'll be others irishmen with me. Maybe some friends of mine, who support scotland, will come with me to enjoy the match. Better, they'll enjoy a pint, and I'll enjoy the match :p
The Gaelic Club, Surry Hills, Sydney.
It's on live on Setanta at 4.45AM.
Magic.
you will get plenty of support out der anyways, everyone hating the french and all (even though they copy everything france do , eg the french style of play in football for one)Quote:

I presume you already know it , but if not it was on the main road (corso vittorio emanuelle??) called Murphys (suprise ?).
The only other place I can remember was The Tetley Huntsman (?) .
Waxys in Glasgow
Came back from Dublin last night.....wish I was still there to watch it in the pub!
Down in Guildford all the pubs will be showing the England game and even if they were/are on at different times we'd be very unlikley to meet any other Irish round here and would probably get stick fromt he vast majority of locals who can't tell he difference between the Republic and the North :D
I could make the trp up to Londain but not really worth it.....going to get the flags, the music and the crips out here and have the craic like we do for most games :D
:( :( I don't think I'll be able to get to a bar to see the game. The only places that I know that do show the game are in New York City, and I won't be able to get down there. :( :(
ill be watching at home , partly to avoid the ole oler's and also to ensure a good "view" of the game
I probably won't remember a lot of the match but I have to take in the atmosphere. I'll tape the match and watch it the next day on my day off.Quote:

No real surpise, it is a pub after all, the real test is if he remembers any other place in Turin with such clarity. :)Quote:

In all probability in a place in the centre of Worcester (The Exchange) - 95% of those in there will be watching the England game on the big screen - but they normally leave another TV on with any other game on - which should be the Ireland one. Plus they also show a third game on a small set above the bar - which I shall ask them to put the coverage of Norway - Scotland from Oslo on.
Last time I went in there for an International, everyone else was watching the England game - and I was the only one watching Norway beating Scotland (Heia Norge!) on a smaller TV set :D
The amount of people who turned and looked at me when Iversen scored the winner will be with me for a good while - unfortunately he had to score when the pub was the quietest - I was jumping up and down like a madman.
`so which pubs in dublin will have the best atmosphere tomorrow night. the arlington along the quays is usually good for the internationals but wouldnt mind a change of scenery? Any suggestions?
I've no ticket and I've given up on the idea of going to the touts when I realised the amount of money I would potentially pay is totally ridiculous.
So with a heavy heart it's off to Fitzsimons. The atmosphere in there is always good for a big game and I'm sure this will be no different.
Anyone know of a good Irish bar in Strasbourg to watch the Ireland game tonight? Is there a Bohs supporter on here from there...

As I am near enough to the Arctic Circle my options are limited to Sky. But I have got my dog by side who has no problem in joining in any celebration. She will bark for Ireland.
WEST UPPER,of my sitting room
