Is this official?
Do you have a link?
This is official folks.
Felix was sacked this evening around 9.30 after a meeting of the Directors of the club.
It is expected that Harps midfielder Anthony Gorman will be offered the job.
I suppose given recent events this was sort of inevitable as it was apparent that he'd lost a lot of backers and as a result on-field performances weren't good enough.
Thanks for the memories Felix and good luck.
WAHOO! I told ye in the "Manager Sackings" thread that Healy might be the next to go!
btw, The Wahoo is for me being right for once and not the fact that Healy was sacked.
Press release:
Quote:
The Board of Finn Harps Football Club wish to announce that Finn Harps have parted company with Felix Healy by mutual consent.
Finn Harps wish to thank Felix Healy for all his efforts during his time with the club and for helping to bring a first ever League title to the club last season – a feat for which the club will be eternally grateful.
The Board would like to wish Felix Healy every success in his future career.
JOE DOHERTY
SECRETARY
on behalf of the Board of Directors
I think it's disgraceful
I know, they should`ve got rid of him months ago....Quote:

When is Dolan going to take over ??
Never. There's no pie-shop in Ballybofey, and the club refused to fund regular trips to 'The Open Oven' in Derry for him to stock-up on sausage rolls...... :pQuote:

Isn't Dolan a shareholder, or something like that, in Harps?

Might have done something similar to Harps to help them out.
Is he a member of the 400 Club?
Dolan has connections in Donegal with family etc and was probably up visiting them. He is a regular to Finn Park though when he is here and is also a shareholder.
There is no way we could afford Pat though, complete non-runner.
Gorman or Boyle will steady the ship until a suitable replacement can be found.
cheerio cheerio cheerio!!!
sorry
anthony gorman...lol!i think ye can do better than that...i hear don o riordan is available :D
I couldn't be happier. I never liked him, he's too smug.
And more trouble for Harps (on the pitch) is good news for us.
Hint: Dolan goes where the money flows (especially into his pocket)
Dolan wont be goin to harps
He can't as he never played for Sligo Rovers , usually a pre-requisite for the harps job.Quote:

These developments will actually keep us up.
.....I would say it would be good if you got Fat Dolan. But like Vinny said Gorman would be good or another experienced player. Chris Coleman....Cwmbran Love :D
Apparently he was looking for 1,100 per week when he applied for Town jobQuote:

Do you blame the manager or the gulf in class? Perhaps considering how Bray and UCD are doing he has let Harps down.
Definitly a tough job but personally I never liked him, he always seemed to be moaning and giving out. His demenor remindss me of Liam Murphy in a way... boring!
This is a fact.
I saw Don O'Riordon in Ballybofey 2 weeks ago.
To add fuel to fire,a reliable source within the Finn Harps Commitee told a friend of mine that Don was in talks with Harps before Healy got the sack, but O'Riordon said he will wait until the end of the season until he takes charge, if the position is still available.
Not only is the royalty of all ********s nocked flat on his arse by his club also there getting don o riordan, my god all my dreams are coming at once. With Don as yer manager we'll have some interesting nights in the shed when we're playing yee. Don O Riordan, i cant get over this. :D Don O Riordan, Don O Riordan, Don O Riordan, Don O Riordan, Don O Riordan ................ Don :DQuote:

As for being in Ballybofey..............so was Dana last week. Doesn't mean she is going to be working in McElhinneys.
Well at least I caught one person out with it.Quote:
