Ozo is doing a great job! :)
Last year I thought Scully was hopeless, too nervous. I have to say I think he's been excellent this year, really livened up and he knows his football too. Ozo isn't doing too bad.
Ozo did a good job ..... if just a little down beat at the start, but it really helps when the pundit knows what is going on and can contribute to the discussion.
I really like the idea that TV3 are trying out new people and introducing them to this side of it, which is a side of our game which needs to be developed .... it is good that we would have to rely on inferior panelists like Dunphy and Giles.
The programme needs money .... an injection ..... do TV3 even look for this or would that be up to the league.
What are the league doing to assist on this side of things ??
No first division tonight which is poor .... good goals in Limerick with what looked like a great crowd on Chorus.
They showed Dublin Citys match

Osam was good, probably the best they've had on this year. I turned it on late (just before Derry v Bray), was there anything on before that?
Drogs Vs. Shels and Cork Vs. Waterford i think. Last nights show was probably the best this season. well put together, loads of action and comments. Good effort from TV3.Quote:

Kinger is a fool but at least he'll keep you awake waiting for those stupid comments.
I future i think i'll just record so can skim through the goals later. Pointless talking about games based on 3 minutes of "highlights".

I agree that Scully has improved and I though Osam was decent. However Pete is kind of right, they can't really offer much analysis on those highlights unless they were actually at the game. Also did anyone find it weird that they showed highlights of Kilkenny and never said one thing to Scully? And where was the game from Balleybofey?
We don't get our games recorded anymore. It just simply isn't feasable to pay a camera man to record the match and get a courier to take the tape to Dubland just to get a poxy 20 seconds of it shown at bloody 12 a clock at night. :mad:Quote:

We had a the same problem with TV3, we weren't shown for two weeks in a row. Some of our fans phoned TV3 to see what the story was and they gave a sob story about how far away Derry was, the fact that they had to pay for the tape and a load of other rubbish.
TV rights means that company's buy the right to pay to screen the matches, though it Ireland it gives you the right to ask the clubs to pay for filming it for you.
Thats a shame. Sorry to hear that. Though am sure you could get someone to go to "Dubland" with the tape. Unusual that you would cover the first division and not the premier :eek:Quote:
