Garreth O Connor (Bournemouth) is having a great season with them.
Shaun Maher (Bournemouth) has only got back into the side over the last few months
I think Roy Keane might get a game ;)
Jonathan Douglas - Blackburn, went on loan with Gillingham for a few months and looks like he has helped keep them up
Chris Adamson is now with Sheffield Wednesday; made at least one start. A 'keeper I always rated, but his kicking is terrible and the Cup Final a couple of years ago seemed to ruin his confidence completely.
Robbie Blake of Birmingham played a couple of games on trial for Waterford around 95/96. Jose Quitongo, Alloa. Richie Foran.
Stephen Staunton (Coventry City) are definites, both senior internationals.
Michael Reddy,Dave Savage,Curtis Fleming.
Anyone ever know what happened to Ray Kelly? He went from Athlone to Man. City. Was with Bohs too. Also with some Norwegian outfit. Did he play for Shamrock Rovers as well?
Steve Staunton played in the President's Cup for Dundalk, but AFAIK never played a senior LoI game for them (I am open to correction on this)
BTW, is Curtis Fleming still playing?
Steve Jones (Crewe) ex Sligo Rovers.
Adam Rundle (Mansfield, ex Dublin City)
John Beresford and Paul Simpson both ex Harps.
yep, with darlington in league 2 afaik... tink hes retireing at the end of the season... saw something in one of the sunday rags a few weeks ago. (im also open to correction on this one?)Quote:

Adamson
Barry-Murphy Delaney Staunton Richie Byrne
Dempsey Keane Douglas Cameron
Blake Hunt
Subs: O'Connor, Maher, Quitongo, Foran, Reddy.

Not true at all, at the start of his career with Carlisle he was very prolific espically when you consider the team he was playing for, then his ill discipline got to him and his Carlisle career went on a downward spiral.Quote:

I'm also excluding loan players as widens the net too much.
This thread si like the eL rule book...i make it up as i go along ;)
Brian Carey and Kevin Nugent (ex Cork City) are two old pros still making a living in the lower divsions. Fair play to them.
Didn't Gary Kelly and Ian Harte both have appearances for Home Farm.
.. am fairly sure neither played at senior level.
Are Eddie Annand / Ian Gilzean still playing in Divsions 2/3 in Scotland ?
colin cameron, keith gilroy, steve jones, eddie annand, ian gilzean, thats all i remember from rovers playin at moment in britain.
99% certain Gary Kelly played LoI football for Home Farm. This question was posed on the DC site recently, and someone insisted that Stephen McPhail had also made league appearances for Home Farm.
