Excellent! :D
should be a good game with both teams coming off convincing wins on friday. :ball:
hopefully some our players will skake off their injuries.
any1 with news on doyler's or flynnny's injury?
Any idea what the City defence will look like, what with the two buckos missing? Is Big Derek ready to step in for Bennett?
Now you're talkin' ..... And i hope he adopts his "take no sh!te" policy !!Quote:

It'll be the Evergreen for me i'd say !!
It was good atmosphere lads game so definitely the place to get to i'd say !!

Team will be:
Greg, Dan, Derek, Hoggie
Billy, George, Colin, Liam
Doyler, Behan
Bench:
McNulty, Gamble, Fenn, O'Flynn, Long, O'Donovan, Guthrie
Derek didn't play in u-21 game on saturday so i think Rico will gamble.
Derek wasnt registered to play in time unfortunatley, so i think greg centre half, billy left full and roy o'donovan right mid... opr maybe lally at left backQuote:

Just beat Portadown 2 nil if i'm correct.
These Northern officials don't appear to be up to scratch.
Mick Devine more or less said so in his post match interview.
Funnily enough Pat Fenlon didn't see it.
yep micko had a rant saying that northern refs are not up to el standards i didnt know the el had standards but he said they were just not good enough and shouldnt be refing down here
If you can find anyone that actually saw it ... i'll give them €150000 !! :eek:Quote:

Rogers ..... studs shown is a yellow ...... when the leg is left there to try and take a guys head off is a straight red.
At least we know Shels aren't able to win without something like that going in their favour. Filth !!
bah :(
Ref was appauling for entire match, but it was the linesman who signalled it had gone over.
Rogers left his studs show so he could do malicious damage to one of our players. He wasn’t the only one either. Shels are taking the complete píss with this sort of play, it is gone beyond having a decision go in your favour. It is dangerous and sinister. I could be wrong, I’d need to see the footage again was Georgie tackled tonight with the intention of injuring him for a few games. I certainly seemed that way with some of the tackles the Heary made on Kearney.
so were Shels.Quote:
Ref was appauling
I'm going to need to take some tranquilers for the next forever, because I am not fully over the last batch of "We were cheated cos we lost" for the Corkies. I have the tape of the game and I'll have a look. If it was over the line, cool, if not, its a bit of a sickner for ye alright. But I doubt I could feel bad for Cork cos your going to complain enough to wish we didnt score probably. Waiting for the backlash....
By the way your timewasting in the first half was a disgrace :D
Shels are filth.
Nice to see the level of your maturity, are you 12 by any chance? I post agreeing with the opinions of the referee being crap, and you turn around with petty crap. Well done to you sir, round of applause. How, out of interest, were Shels appauling? They played the better football, and we'll never know if that was a goal or not, but the officials gave it. Maybe it was, maybe it wasn't, you should know yourself from the GOC incident the ref can make a bad decision, hell, look at the ManU-Spurs game from this year. Cork played for a draw, and it backfired. TOUGH FúCKING COOKIE! :p
Georgie boy is filth. Fact.Quote:

And now let's hope Shels reaches the finals, I'm afraid though Portadown won't be too motivated anymore... N.Ireland league is over, and they cannot reach the final anyway. Still... Come on Ports !!
Shame about lack of decent camera coverage!

The anti-Cork conspiracy continues - where will it end?
RedX I thought it was a lively game, expect for the 20 minutes of the first half. a good even contest that I thought at times Shels had a chance or two more. Kearney was very good and had Owen for a bit but Owen came back with some good tackles. I did think Devine time watsed a good deal in teh first half. Apart from that, I didnt think it dirty???? I just hate having to deal with th eimagnary influcence some corkies think shels have over the universe!!
Decent TV coverage would be expected in a tournament organised by a TV station specialised in sports
I think to avoid discussions such as this, we don't have to look very far. In icehockey there have been infrared softwares attached to the goal posts for years, they offer you 100% certainty on weither the ball (or in icehockey case: puck) crossed the line or not. This would avoid many fuzz, after all we've had similar cases on European or World Championships or in Champions League, and then there's so much money involved...
Why does FIFA refuse to embrace technical evolution ?? Just put a camera on the posts, use camera images available for the referee in case of doubtful situations (offside or not, red card or not, ...) and you will avoid much troubles and frustration. I don't get why FIFA is still opposed against camera use.
I dont think it was a goal at all,im gutted.I hope we beat Portadown by 2 goals .
I hope you enjoyed your trip to the Real Capital :) Does city life look nice to you ? :D
*just joking*
At least we showed you how to do it in the second half :DQuote:

Well said that man.Quote:

The ref was dire but he was dire for both sides, or do Shels have the IFA in their back pocket too? Typical Cork whinging, forgive me if I'm not overly sympathetic after the woeful antics of Georgie in the first match. He was dire for both sides, but as ever you only notice the decisions that don't go your way and cry conspiracy.
