You just make sure you dont drink too much one night or maybe bump your head as you'll have to hold onto that league winning memory for a very long time :p
Will you be sticking around for the trophy presentation in Dalymount when we win the League this year?
It couldn't be better than the feeling of winning the league 2 seasons on the trot.Quote:

Setanta is all very well and good but we all know what trophy we would pick if we had the choice.
Id go for
League
FAI Cup
Setanta
League Cup
thats apart from Europe but we dont have a chance in that.
BTW
Your signature isnt exactly true either.....
Is there any difference between the Champions League and the Intertoto?
Maybe you should write beside the Shels results in brackets (Part of the reason why Cork will be seeded in this seasons UEFA Cup) Or add in the coefficient points gained by each result.
Id go for:Quote:

Setanta ahead of FAI cup for the prize money! As for what you said about Europe, All Im saying in my sig is that your Euro run was overhyped!
Exactly - they couldn't beat a team from fcuking Iceland for example. And let's not even begin with those Hibernian giants from MALTA! :DQuote:

If money's your only motivation then you should shut the fcuk up.
This coming from a $heŁ$ fan! If we are to compete with you lot we need money!!Quote:

IFK Gothenburg (UEFA Cup winners 1981 & 1987)
Malmo FF x2 (European Cup Finalist 1979)
NEC Nijmegen
CSKA Kiev
As it does ya!!Quote:

From UEFA.com
Shelbourne total European record
........AP.P..W.D..L..GF.GA
Total 16 40 3 11 26 31 75
Cork City total European record
........AP.P..W.D.L..GF.GA
Total 10 28 6 6 16 17 40
We can all put 11 men behind a ball, its winning games that counts!
Beating them in that FAI cup replay in Tolka in 2003 was ****ing unbelievable ;)

Somebody answer the fcuking question
Come back when your in the big leagues, like Finn Harps, and then maybe we'll talk. :DQuote:

You should have a quick look at the structure of UEFA's competitions and the rules involved. Apparently you can go through on this new idea of away goals.
Winning 1-0 at home and getting stuffed 3-0 away will not help you ....
Winning games is not all that counts.
Also your European run doesnt come close to that of Shels last season no matter how many games you won.
A. It was in UEFA's 3rd competition
B. It was against inferior opposition
C. It done nothing to improve the countries coefficient (VERY IMPORTANT IF WE ARE TO PROGRESS AS A LEAGUE)
Semi finalists actuallyQuote:

Both Cork and Shels can can very proud of they're European exploits last year, now lets follow them up with something even better eh :) ;) .
Just for the record IMO
League
Setanta
FAI
LC
The Setanta Cup for me decides the champions of all 32 counties- the all-ireland winners or whatever else you want to call it. The reason I have the league ahead of it is because you need it to qualify for Europe and the Setanta. The bonus of qualifying for the Setanta through the FAIcup makes it (FAIcup) even more lucrative. The League Cup is streets behind but the prize money is handy not to mention a trophy for your clubs cabinet and medal for the players.
what exactly is it about beating shels that everybody loves?
I think Ollie Byrne is the main reason :)Quote:

Inferior opposition!!!Malmo won the swedish league this year and we beat them 4-1,an away win aswell.Nijmegan were poor enough alright, but at least they're playing against the likes of Ajax,PSV and Feyenord, and how you can call Nantes inferior is beyond me!!
I couldn't agree with you more, mate.Quote:
