We had very little hope of getting anything from this game before the events of the week and we have very little hope now I'd be happy with just some signs of a positive performance.
I don't know, it does feel like we were getting so poor lately that we would have had no hope, but then we drew with Derry both other games this season. Its possible we will suddenly get better but there haven't been enough new players in and the old players don't look interested in playing for MacDonald. 2-0 loss.

Everyone still so sure we're not in relegation trouble. Worrying times in my opionon.
Without some decent reinforcements we're going to get sucked into a relegation battle. Pats/Harps/Bohs are putting good results together and are going to pass us soon. Our next two games look unwinnable with this squad. We've too look at the games after that.
Feel sorry for the lads who travelled up. It doesn't sound like the team cares, regardless of who plays and who doesn't.
There's five or six there that could care more than they've ever cared about anything in the world and it wouldn't make any difference.
I believe we had one shot on target from about 30 yards that a child could have strolled over to and stopped.
Did anyone else think the commentators were actually a bit taken aback by how poor Limerick were ?
I'm willing to reserve final judgement on the general transfer policy until the deadline passes, but as it stands it's a remarkable failure for the summer window. And I don't think that's (solely) McDonald's fault, as it seems to happen every window.
Many were slating you know who for not being able to bring people in, so I would expect there to be plenty of blame for MacDonald this window. Especially when he has shown 6? the door.
Leaving so many players go means less options in particular Robbie Williams can't understand with the current situation we are in to release him.Quote:
