Which game wil the publican show?
I think we should have an official pub and all thats not travelling go there and agree with the publican before hand. He might even throw in a few sambos
Agreed. The thing is City fans would be there in big numbers (hence, good business for the publican) so if it was arranged, I think they'd agree.
often been down there on a saturday afternoon and there has often been 3 different games on various screens down thereQuote:

If the bar was full of City fans then they would have to go with the City game. If not, then i know that i would up sticks and go to a bar with the game on, no question about it.
as i said above, they often show 3 games at the same time on saturdaysQuote:

But, I'm sure if we turn up in numbers that they'll throw it on!
anybody confirm if it was on
It was on in the Evergreen alright. There were 7 or 8 of us there, but they only had it on one screen- chelsea game was on the big screen and was so loud we couldn't hear the commentary properly- all for 4 queen- loving barstoolers with their chelsea scarves
I'm defo goin down for shels vs. portadown, that should be on the main one if theres lots of city fans...
I watched it in the Evergreen aswell. They only put it on the small tele and had the Chelsea game on BOTH big screens.
I can't see why they didn't put the Setanta game on at least one of the big screens because there were actually more people there to watch that than the few idiots watching the Chelsea game.
Could be because the bar staff are in fact 'stoolers themselves
Isn't that just typical?! They've probably never been near Stamford Bridge but they "support" Chelsea. I'll bet you they "supported" Arsenal last season!Quote:

It was pretty sad to see it actually.
2 with Chelsea jersey's + 2 without, shoutin' at the tele, and when Drogba scored they nearly brought the roof down!
God I hate scum like that.
The muppets were wearing Chelsea scarves aswell! The were dessed as if they were actually going to the game! Sad.Quote:

Anyone know a different pub with a big telly that will be showing the $h€£$ V Portadown game? My eyesight's not what it used to be, being 38 and all.....
i can confirm the evergreen will show setanta cup games on the bigger screens.
I'll let them know when we're there..... ;)
