Wexford Youths are planning to release a statement this evening (Friday) on its squad for 2017.
Only one player announced last night but a good start with confirmation that Craig McCabe has re-signed.
Andy O'Connor now confirmed for next season. Would expect him to do very well in the First Division.
Goalkeeper Graham Doyle now confirmed for 2017.
Sligo Rovers have confirmed that Chris "Hopper" Kenny has signed from the Youths for 2017.
Shane "Duxey" Dunne will be with the club again in 2017.
Craig Wall has signed for the club for 2017. He didn't play in 2016 so it's great to have him back.
Our best young player, Eoin Porter, has re-signed for 2017. Good prospect.
John McKeown, ex Cabinteely and Longford, has signed for the Youths for 2017.
Pre-season training started for the Youths last night. Would expect a few more squad announcements over the coming days.
Lee Duffy, ex Drogheda and Longford, now confirmed as having signed for the 2017 season.

Yeah he was one of the 6 or 7 players that didn't bother training at drogs after the got smashed by Dundalk. Apparently he wouldn't train with us Coz of his dodgy ankle so but the club arranged an operation for him and he didn't bother going for it and just stopped training altogether so was shown the door. Sorry for not replying. No, Aidan didn't return - retired I'm pretty sure. Had a lot of injury problems last season.
The club has announced that Sean Eve and John McKeown have left the club. Neither was getting a lot of game-time.

Wexford have taken Aaron Dobbs on loan from Shamrock Rovers for the rest of the season.
yep thats him. He joined us from start of 2015 season from Shamrock Rovers B but only lasted half the season and couldnt make the first team!Quote:
