CORK V Bohs 4,028
1,626 at Richmond Park.
Around 150 or so very happy Galway United fans.
From Extratime:
Cabo-Athlone 902
Shels-Cobh 644
Drogs-Waterford 550 estimate
No official figure from Finn park, and I don't think we'll see anything accurate. 4,500 capacity but easily around 5,200 or so there. Biggest crowd I've seen there in years.
Don't know Ferrycarrig's capacity but the stand was full and a good crowd all around the ground. 2500 at a total guess.
If this is to become the official 2016 loi attendance thread on Foot.ie then i just want to state that although i started it i have no interest in updating it or dishing out averages and trends :D.I'll leave that job to those with experience in the field.
Stand hold 603. Official attendance was 928. Weather was shocking in Wexford all day and Ferrycarrig Park is known to be a cold spot at times
Jaysus I was way off I thought the stand held more than that. It was bloody freezing out there, the windchill was unreal. Nice place though and great clubhouse.
1252 Lims v UCD
Limerick v UCD attendance 1252.

Good first attendance of the season for us. A very good performance as well meaning if we win next weekend then you'd expect to see our attendance rise by another few hundred for the next home game.

Happy with the crowd at the Pats game, I see it was given as 1626 but there was a good bit more than that. Some good off the field stuff being done at the moment, hopefully it continues for the whole season.
902 at our game at cabo? Jesus didn't expect that. Didn't look anywhere near that to me
A fair few can be in the bar, so it'd look like there's fewer at the game than there is. Or than paid in, anyway.
Dundalk v Finn Harps 3,216
A near full Jodi tonight, with a good Sligo crowd. Maybe 2500
1,627 at Eamonn Deacy Park tonight. I thought there was a bit more myself. But what do I know.. :D
Tonights games:
Dundalk v Harps: 3,216
Bohs v Sligo: 2,115
Galway v Bray: 1,627
Longford v St Pats: 725
Waterford v Limerick: 720
Derry v Cork: ?
Shamrock Rovers v Wexford: ? (Extratime 2,000 estimate)
UCD v Cabo: ? (Extratime 250 estimate)
The PA can be poor at times in oriel park. The town side of the stand was well packed Nigel, you wouldn't have seen this from the away side, not to mention that area of the pitch! Anyway that part is very popular with families, easily 500 there.
Ps anyone, why are Rovers estimating attendances for the past few seasons? it always seems to be 'approx 2,000' or so, it can't be that difficult to publish an exact attendance figure, good lord it took Dundalk long enough to do this, thankfully from around 2012 they have been reporting exact figures, even if 2012 were dreadful crowds that averaged 950 or so.
Estimate 2,500 according to this article: http://www.derryjournal.com/sport/fo...city-1-7271785
725 for Longford's first home game, pretty poor but maybe they will get better on Saturday night games
Thought around 800 myself it's a fantastic ground but sadly in the sticks way out of town.
Personally I've always been on the side of the debate that the ground location is a massive plus for us. Look at the local gah stadium, it's hidden in behind a housing estate, has poor car parking facilities and no room to develop. We have one of the biggest car parks in the league (but does need to be tarmacked badly) and we have built a second pitch and have plans for a new astro facility to replace to old one. The small attendances are down to the total lack of promotion by the club, the lack of volunteers (which again the club have a lot to answer for as they have turned many away) and the fact we are struggling to attract young supporters, again the club has a lot to answer for there.
