THAT goal. Perhaps the most memorable goal we've ever scored
First Shels player to be capped by Ireland in decades. Stunning performance followed on his return V Pats
And the fans, "Just like the Italians" according to George Hamilton, allbeit it was last season he said that ;) but the Drumcondra end packed and light up with flares is always a very nice site and makes alot of noise. Unfortunately I couldn't find a picture of the "Believe" banner that was used in Europe.

Jason Byrne scored eight goals in four league games against us last season; this shot shows the one occasion on which we got the better of him, during the League Cup win over Shels. (Not pictured: Derek Griffin.)
Where it all went wrong. Spot the Judas. Also, photographic evidence that I knew he was a bad egg from the word go.
Couldn't find a pic of Keith Foy hitting the post with that last-minute penalty (thereby spurning the chance to tie a crucial game with Waterford at 3-3, DC having been 0-3 behind at half-time) at the RSC, an incident which summed our season up better than any other.

Harsh I think, He wasn't that bad was he? with a bit of luck I think next year he'll be a superb player. He's technically good and strikes the ball very well. I think he'll suprise next year.Quote:

2) Robbie Doyle, celebrates Pats last gasp equalizer v Bohs in Dalymount - the goal celebration was the most exuberant of the season, Bohs fans were sick as their ex player came back to haunt and taunt them! Subsequent TV replays showed he didnt even touch the ball - it was a honker hawkins og - but who cares!

3) Pats fans smoke bomb the pitch at Richmond Park in a game v tenant club and potential south dublin rivals Shamrock Rovers. No decent pic was taken so i included these two of the event, the referee report stated that the game started in an unacceptable hostile atmosphere! (bar dublin city this was the premiers two worst teams!):
