Dunno if this has been asked before but how about a junior league section for each Junior/District League. Clubs could use foot.ie a messageboard/noticeboard and it could raise the awareness of foot.ie even further.
Whatcha think?

Don't know enough about the junior league to answer tbh, but I'd wonder if there's a demand for it. I'll let my devoted underlings comment. ;)
"Community" forums is one way to go forward with this, i.e. requests that get a certain amount of support go into a special Community section to see how they get on, like the Hosted section on Boards. I'd only do it for forums that would fit the structure though, i.e. I'd do it for "Glenfaddachnachnageagle Rovers", but not "Forum For Jimmy's Glenfaddachnachnageagle Rovers Twice Monthly Website".

Here's another forum suggestion from an unregistered user:

[size=2]hello - i read your message boards regularly but never post - but i was just thinking - It would be a good idea for you to add a Leinster Senior League forum! there was an official one up til recently on lsl.ie but they got too many complaints (cos it was official i guess & wasnt moderated at all) & it was taken down. But the site itself got thousands of hits & posts! & i have heard many people say they miss it!
Thats the kind of thing I was thinking of. Might give Junior league teams around the country the oppurtunity to make challenges with teams outside their own league easier, stick up club notices about registration, fixtures. League tables etc.Quote:

I would agree with this idea. I wouldnt limit it to junior football though. Name it Non-League football so Intermediate matters could be discussed as well.
A surprising number of people coulbe be interested ild say.
Judging by the number of posts in the Limerick Junior football thread I'd say there's a good demand for it
just put my tuppence in here.
great idea ;)
I'd have to agree aswell ... Go for it !!
I think yes, if no other reason that Limerick Junior Football thread in eL General annoys me :)
I would suggest a Non-league forum to start with - if it takes off it could be expanded to the different leagues...
if ti annoys you that much macy why dont look for it to be moved, i do think a junior forum would be very successful
That's up to forum mod, but imo it should be in general football. :cool:Quote:

Just while we are on this topic ... are there any good sites for the non-league clubs out there ??

Junion League section added here. Note that all forums in the new Community section are probationary, i.e. if they don't get traffic they die.

Now that the section is set up, how about a mod drag the thread on the limerick forum in there.Quote:

Fair point.
