Can i get picked up in Rathcormac in Cork like last year if needed???
I wont be able to make it as workin Sat and Sun nite! safe journey to the lads that are goin and hopefully we will do the business down there!
It's no party without Marty..
But he can still cry if he wants to, (hopefully tears of joy)
I've never been to Cobh. Maybe next time.
Cousins stated in today's mirror LOI pull out he wants town to get on top early and not allow teams to sit in a frustrate them this season, I am very confident ahead of this one. Going to go 3-1 town.
He said something similar on Shannonside last week. He always makes a lot of sense in interviews to be fair to Tony, spoke well on Shannonside again the other day, reckons there's still a lot of improvement left in the team. Hopefully we win without too much difficulty tonight but a win of any kind will do. I've put a whopping €1.50 on Davy to score first (he's due one, he's been unlucky not to have more goals already) and Town to win 3-0 @ 18/1.
Hopefully Extratime will provide match commentary tonight as I will be unable to attend. The 3 games last season I wasn't able to make they only did goal updates on.....just my luck!
Hopefully there'll be updates through clubapp, depending on the 3G I guess!
Yeah a mate of mine who couldn't attend the last two games said it was pretty poor. Hopefully it'll get better.
Game called off, bring back winter football.
Game off! Long way to go for fans and team for it to be called off now. Still not much Cobh can do about it, ref passed the pitch at about half five.
Actually having now seen the state of the pitch it should never have been left so late they would have known the forecast and that it wasn't going to dry out.

If the clubs and the league can show any assertiveness, the game should be re-fixed for Easter Monday and our home game against Harps moved to Good Friday.
Yeah serious disadvantage for our lads if gets moved to a midweek night so I expect that's what'll happen. LTFC have no official say as far as I know.
We only found out going up the hill at ten to 7 team were getting on the bus as we arrived. Pitch was totally waterlogged no way it just happened out of no where referee should have called it off at 4pm, outrageous waste of money for the supporters.
Sickener for all the LTFC fans who made the journey down. Im a Longford native sadly living in Cork & i drove to the game only to find out it was cancelled. Not a happy bunny as i had a nasty headcold also. I rang the supporters bus to get a lift after another fell through but they were gone by where i live. They sounded in good voice anyway. Still if its refixed for midweek i might be the only midlander at it!!!
How did the supporters bus get on for the journey back. Did ye get a few beverages to pass the time??Did ye get to go out in Cobh???
I see we get to do it all again on 2nd June bank holiday monnday 3pm ko, not great timing for either team as we both play 2 days before on Saturday 31st may and both teams have no match on the weekend of the 7th, crazy stuff, surely if both teams want they can play the game whenever suits the clubs instead of the Airtricty league
It's a great day for it, should get a much better crowd than a midweek game or perhaps even a friday or saturday night with it being a BH and people looking for something to do during the day.

I won't argue with you Hollocaine if neither team are playing in the Fai cup why not play the match then
I can't find any info on either team playing on the weekend of the 6/8th June but according to extra time this is the fixtures which give Cobh an extra day to recover, that probably wrong as Shamrock rovers B usually play away on Fridays and home on Sundays
I think that round of the FAI cup is when the LOI teams enter so both will have games if that's the case.
Fair enough, best make use of the squad so, lots of games in quick succession, 1/4 final of Leinster cup I would hope the 1st choice players play, 2 games from a final and all that
