Where will this all end?
it has , ddsl national cup games to be ran off over the next few weeks to catch up, games not to be cancelled under no circumstances switching to alternative venues if required
Are the DDSl clubs being shoehorned into some SFAI competitions?
they tried to seed top teams or something ,they have four rounds to play in some cases so im not sure now how the draw will run as some teams were down to have byes will the ddsl teams fill the bye slots or will they redo the draw a team i know were away to a kildare team but unsure yet as theres a CSL meeting along with other leagues as to pulling out or staying in
There redoing the whole draw
ya its looking like it so well see what happens , i heard the fai were threatening to abolish the sfai and take over the running of schoolboys football if they didnt end there dispute so it so seems the ddsl rules the roost
no he means the last 32 draw theyll be redoing that once the ddsl allocate their qualifiers
Seems the FAI HAS NO BALLS,afraid to take on ddsl, rules are rules and this applies to ddsl as well,my team have 4 games played to reach last 32,wondering will the fai intervene to make sure the ddsl pay all the money they owe, doubt it very much, feel very sorry for the clubs whos players are targetted every year with promises of gold, whether they are from ballymun or ballybunion, ddsl hadnt the backing of 1 league in the whole country in this dispute.i hope that teams who are beaten by dublin teams object regarding the 50km rule and that might sort it once and for all.
Said on the star today that cork and Kerry may pull out or leagues might refuse to supply refs for sfai cups and that teams could refuse to play against ddsl sides,it's turning into a bit of a farce
draws remade this evening
A good few Cork teams drawn against dublin teams, could be very interesting.
When will the "round of 32" matches be played?
God forbid that the FAI would take over the running of Schoolboy football. Would be a retrospective move even by today's standards.
The current process of developing young players (primarily through the DDSL) and sending them to England at a young and immature stage of development is a a failed process
It does little to help the development of either the players or the game in Ireland.
Its only value is to further the personal interests of the DDSL Mafia.
Some teams are already playing an SFAI National Cup "last 32 match" next weekend.
Word has it that Cork teams wont be fulfilling there fixtures next week, fair play to them for making a stand against the FAI.
CSL have scheduled full local fixture list for this weekend including league games for the teams left in national cup, can't understand why there is so little coverage by the media about this and why other leagues aren't kicking up more of a fuss
Just seen front page of target in the star what a joke
Ddsl to give fai half a million towards abbotstown development all looks very cosy
Seen in The Star today that the DDSL are pumping €500k into the FAI complex at Abbotstown. Reason FAI shoehorned DDSL back into SFAI competitions despite several rules being flouted suddenly an awfully lot clearer. Little old 'me fein' Ireland is alive and well. Disgraceful decision by the FAI and a total slap in the face for every other schoolboy league in the country.
I'd love to know which last 32 matches are being played next weekend????? Cant find official confirmation of that anywhere online. DDSL and SFAI websites a total waste of web space!

I also heard that the teams that got a bye in the original last 32 draw, are now fully compensated for travel expenses if they got an away game in the re-draw. Anyone know if this is true and if so... is it fair?
A number of cork teams rumoured to have pulled their clubs out of comps more leagues to follow id say
Ya,Cork wouldnt play national cup games this weekend,so sfai refixed them for following week, what will be the next step???
Corinthians and douglas hall gone rockmount to follow aswell i heard
All cork clubs gone
will the other leagues follow or bow to Dublin as usual???
Probably not but they should follow terrible on the boys but a stand has to be made could this be the end of the national cup and possible kennedy cup and various other competitions
@rory There was never any compensation offered where did you hear this???
??????
I heard it on the side-line from a , what I thought, reliable source. I know, I should not always believe what I hear.. but for the Cork Teams... they don't seem to have pulled out. They reserve their position in regards to playing the National Cup... See Corinthians website:

Cork teams will only participate in the original draw not the ddsl biased draw so looks like the end for cork kids in this years national cup as they don't have €500000 to give to the fai!!
This is an absolutely disgraceful shambolic carry on and the FAI have shown themselves up once again. They are now being wagged by the tail by the DDSL. It would be totally outrageous in any other country apart from little old Ireland. Kids who have made it to the last 32 in their respective age groups now face the probability of not playing any further part in the competition so the Dubs can stick their 2 fingers and more up at every other league in the country.
Shame on the DDSL, shame on the SFAI, shame on the FAI.
Just heard the following teams have pulled out. It's a shame, I agree but shame on the Cork League as well for doing that to the players. They would not have minded to proceed with this draw. Why not formally object and state not to partake next season if the draw is not reversed. These players have come so far now and all for nothing because their league wants to prove a point?????
Shame on the FAI, SFAI, DDSL and the Cork Schoolboys League!!

Cork schoolboys league had nothing to do with clubs pulling out they came together through a number of meetings and decided to pull out as the sfai hadn't and still haven't responded to their questions. The CSL stated a couple of weeks ago they would have no part in it ie.setting fixtures and supplying referees and put no pressure on clubs to back out just offered support to anyone who decided to
