2nd preseaon friendly announced by us today:
Longford Town v Athlone Town CCS 8.2.14 KO 7.30
This is good to see. A lot of clubs have already assembled more than 70% of their playing squads already which means that they can plan a proper pre-season.

Limerick: Jan 11th
As far as I know the club will be heading off for a pre-season camp again this year. Possibly Scotland.

I believe Harps start on the 12th.

Longford friendly brought forward a day to Friday February 7th.
We're away to Wexford in the Leinster Senior Cup on Friday February 14th, and away to Galway on February 22nd or 23rd.
There are a few other friendlies yet to be confirmed.
Harps start on the Monday 13th, not the 12th. Apologies for the mistake.
A two-month pre-season is farcical, but I suppose it's what happens when you're limited to 40-week contracts.

what ex sligo plyrs are with them nowadays? do you go out the enniskillen road to it?
Danny Keohane, Steve Feeney, Alvin Rouse and Liam Martin are ex-Sligo players with Ballinamallard. Not sure if there's any others.
yep..it's about 8 miles past Enniskillen.
Jason McCartney is also with them. Conor O'Grady was also with them for one season.
