Was thinking of maybe doing the same. Roughly how many hours up Eanna? And what is the best way?
I have always gone straight up ... Thurles -> Templemore -> Birr -> Athlone etc. Roads aren't the best but you definitely dont meet as much traffic that way.Quote:

I've got a car full of City fans going up aswell but will be going the Dublin road if only to avoid Eanna, the man is a hazard on the roads! :D

Dont think we can get going much earlier, How long do you reckon to get there? Is it 7:30 or 7:45 kick off?
Just checked it there, (trying to avoid doing any work). It says 1hr 46 minutes on the AA website from dublin to Longford. Not sure if they mean City Center (they probably do, but that wouldn't take into account roadworks etc....Quote:
