Bohemians V Dundalk preview and stat attack from Dundalkfc.com

Drogheda 7/2 against Pats must be the most tempting bet in there.
Took Drogs in my accumulator.
Our biggest game of the season so far. Nerves already kicking in.
Really? Ye's are going very well in the League, thought that'd be the main concern.
The Cup is all we've got left at this stage. Should be handy enough tonight with Mervue, though we thought the same last season before Wexford put us out. A couple of early goals would be in order to kill the game nice and quickly.
Would actually love to be watching Pats-Drogs. Think that'll be a fascinating game.
So very quiet on here tonight.
Shels 2-1 Rovers
Pats 0-0 Drogs
Bohs 0-1 Dundalk - another screamer from Griffin by the sounds of things??
Derry 7-1 Mervue - McEleney with goal of the season contender???? Mark Farren breaks the Derry goalscoring record.
1st Div:
Athlone 0-3 Wexford
The highs and lows of LOI crashing together at Dalymount Park tonight.Bohs fresh from a win against the champions last week V Dundalk, easy meat after their poor defeat at home V UCD.On form this is simple for Bohs. But in steps #fuqformthisisLOI and Dundalk bust Bohs.Oh the joys of the LOI.What a leauge, what a cup.
Possibly a lot of Dundalk fans (myself included) are still a little in shock that we have somehow reached the semi final, and we are now in the 'uncomfortable' position of possibly hoping Drogs win their replay so they can join us in the last four.........mmmm now that would indeed be tasty seeing them off....
The players who couldn't be arsed under Kenny amazingly couldn't be arsed under his assistant.
Now there's a surprise.
Mental oul stuff at the Brandy tonight.
7 goals, been quite a while since we scored that many. A record for the cup quarter-final perhaps?
Patrick McEleney with our third, scored from inside the centre circle. Incredible.
Although he's overshadowed by Mark Farren. Scored a hatrick and takes the record as our top LoI goalscorer. What a man.
SkStu,we have a few car parks for the selling ;)
We will never die.
Dundalk fully deserved the win. the sweeper in front of the back 4 ( no 6) pretty much won every tackle he went in for. Good free kick from Griffin for the goal, didnt think it was a foul though.
Doesn`t augur well for Dundalk, the last time they beat us in the cup they got relegated and spent 5? years in the first division.
Good luck anyway, hopefully you play and beat Derry in the final.
Mark Farren gets a mention on F365;

Final Word On The Weekend
This column may be focused on the Premier League, but the story of the weekend occurred in Ireland where Mark Farren became Derry City's all-time leading goalscorer after bagging a hat-trick in the 7-1 FAI Cup quarter-final win over Mervue United. Farren's achievement in usurping Liam Coyle, who famously left Carles Puyol on his arse when Derry played Barcelona at the Brandywell in 2003, is particularly special considering he previously retired from the game after it was discovered that he had a brain tumour. His recovery from illness and return to full fitness is a remarkable story, made complete by the 30-year-old's record-grabbing performance on Friday.

Mark Farren also selected as Goal.com's 'World Player of the Week': http://www.goal.com/en-ie/news/3908/...ren-derry-city

The goal.com rep is foot.ie poster AlaskaFox, I believe. I don't think I am revealing any secret identities or anything saying that.
Semi-Final draw.
Dundalk v St Pats or Drogheda United
Derry v Shelbourne
Drogs 1-0 now, anyway.
Drogheda 1 up,Prengergast.
Faherty eqlzs for Pats 1-1 (ffs)
If it goes to penos I'd fancy Drogs - Sava is the better keeper.
It's Penos in the Park :) f/t 1-1
Pats through on pens
Looks like we have the early game... Hmmm...
