From what I heard annacotty was the teams downfall last year. We were great on the astro but got caught on the poorer pitches.
Spot on the team are good on astro but on grass cant win,, same as last year bet cobh at home and cobh scored the same at home and won the league ..
I wouldn't say that they cant win on grass seeing as they won 5 out of their 8 away games last year on grass and beat waterford this year in a preseason friendly on grass.Quote:

*Having said that we didn't test what looked like a fairly poor keeper nearly enough. I'm sceptical about the 4-2-3-1 at that level, too often if they game is tight you just end up horsing it at a lone man with no support/dribbling down blind alleys out wide.
Exactly, he was rubbish. Lobbed from 40 yards when he didn't look that far off his line. Spilled two simple balls that should have both resulted in goals and flapped at everything he came for. Other than the OG, Limerick didn't have that many chances.Quote:

Galway a shambles in the first half conceding 7, limerick should have been in double figures..went in 7 2 up at the break, galway changed formation and tightened up considerably and nicked one on a counter attack at the end..limerick owned the ball and how they didn't manage to score in the second half is beyond me, could have scorered at least 12..Galway way out of there depth. Best for limerick were Barry sheedy and Tony whitehead
