lads our flag was stolen in sopot in the kebab place last night at 6 in the morning.
it was the one in polish which read Szukasz męża? pogadaj z nami
which means looking for a husband talk to us.
please dont move this message me here and we are staying at the pentagos in poznan if anyone finds it.
What, "if you're looking for a husband, talk to us" or "we're looking for a husband, talk to us"? I mean, you do have a manbag so it's not really clear...

Maybe a nice Polish girl preferred the flag than the husbands on offer???

I think you would have had more luck if it said "looking for a wife" ;)

"found" by a polish daily newspaper....that was nicked out of the shop. anyway igather some people had their fun with it.
Just got a text from someone in Poland saying that it had been found on a beach. Looks like your making the news over there. Unreal. Chuffed to bits for ye mate. Some relief. Hope its only a matter of days before it arrives safetly back in ye're hands. Anyone for a ticker-tape style parade down O'Connell street to celebrate the return of the flag, kinda like the time in the Simpsons were they had one for the inanimate rod :-)Quote:
