does anyone know when cup starts? pike to win again but janesboro could go close with clarke up front.
tramore from waterford for me this year. saint kevins or sheriff yc from dublin my other tips.
a team from dublin called landan i think? meant to be strong
MOD EDIT,francescoli, this thread is specifically about the FAI Junior Cup and I don't want it diverted onto a subject that has been done to death on foot.ie over the years.
12 th man.
12th man I think he was referring that sherriff beat shels (top of loi div 1 )last weekend so therefore must have a great chance to win junior fai ...
Pike rovers trophy again this year me thinks
I think the Boro will do it, they seem to be matching Pike on and off the pitch, I think they will get another few signings before the deadline. great contenders for the fai this season.
pike or st. kevins to win it out,,two teams who will be going all out to win this trophy
Lads fai is a bit away,it's a bit early to be naming contenders.what happens if boro draw pike, one of them gone already like what happened the view last year.pike still have a stronger panel than boro,IMO
When's the draw?
From talking to Pike players after they beat Sherrif last year, they admitted they were extremely lucky to go through and that they were by far 2nd best on the day. Sherrif for me!!
Boro wont win the FAI thats for sure, unless they get a proper manager and thats still
pushing it
Anybody think Saint Michaels?
No st michaels fall short in finals.
like the munster junior this year???
Outside of clubs that can't afford to buy an FAI, Avenue United in Clare should go well.
I think avenue will do well this season with a few new signings ... But don't think they will win fai. munster more realistic ...
This is getting so boring it's unreal, will people just get over it.
The FAI Junior Cup is tainted in my opinion, it is becoming more and more an elitist competition with clubs that have funds to intice players back from senior soccer to play in a junior competition. It's like having Kilkenny/Tipp Senior hurling teams turning up to play a junior club championship for a local team because someone can afford to foot the bill.
And what teams from clare have you watched to say they are poor..
As for the fai thing.. Look at the population of clare .. We simply don't have the pick to choose from.. In fairness they have done well enough last couple of years in Oscar traynor and are improving facilities every year ..
pike rovers, sheriff,st michaels,st kevins, carrick utd. I think its hard to look past any of them 5 teams.they have the experience of grinding out wins in the latter stages of big competitions and having an experienced team who have been there before is a huge advantage
what time is the draw tomarrow lads for limerick section
