Harps really unlucky, better side but fell asleep at the back twice and were punished. Good game on an awful pitch.

Fanad 2-2 Rovers.

Encouraging start for the new boys, hopefully along with Tralee's win, all the first-teams will be pushing hard this season.

Much better than the 10-2 hammering they got in the final game of last year anyway.

Fanad very welcoming to us, nice we set up they have down there. brought us back to the village for a feed after too. best of luck to them

The website doesn't usually have the opposition lineups for youths or reserves games.

is there a 2 week break now?

Yup, a real pity as sides are just getting going after 2 games. A further series or 2 of games would have been much better imo.

you'd wonder who makes these ridiculous decisions

McNulty looks very good, can be prone to one or two mistakes in a game but overall he's good, strong tackler too.

Snodgrass is alright, no real alternative keeper so he'll be playing more or less every game. Dodgy kickouts.

McNutt was with us last season, played right back a good bit, has an unreal temper and got himself sent off a few times last year but overall decent.

Snodgrass was up for one training session last pre-season, Gallagher didn't rate him and he went back to ye.

Both of them are from Ballybofey and I think they're both at the IT down there.

7 of the starting 11 were at Harps at some point over the past 3 seasons.
