Ciaran Cannon was a season ticket holder and Derek Nolan is the nephew of the late legend Miko.
The two blueshirts elected for Sligo North Leitrim go to games but are utter imbaciles.
Colreavy the PSF lad elected here has an interest but I dont think he goes to games.
Flanagan, i have witnessed in the showgrounds in Sligo a number of times i have visited with my own team
The new Fine Gael TD for Louth, Peter Fitzpatrick, played for Dundalk in the 80s.

What do you do to relax?
I listen to sport on the radio; I follow Queens Park Rangers and Sligo Rovers.
There was also a former councillor that was a bootboy back in the day.
Also another lad who ran for the council here was also a bootboy.
New Dublin central TD Mary Lou McDonnald SF sponsored a Bohs match a couple of years back (possibly as part of her Euro election campaign) although it was probobly due more to Larry O'Toole, dublin city councillor (who just missed out on an SF seat) who is a long standing memeber of the club.
Ged Nash - Labour, Louth - is a big Drogs fan. And a very nice bloke.
Well Heather Humphries (FG) was at the opening of the Monaghan United Astro pitch as the County Mayor at the time....does she count?
Dermot Ahern(who?) is a huge DundalkFC fan,but now that he is retired we are more than willing to let him go elsewhere :D (all papers are in order)
SF TD Sean Crowe attends the odd match at Tallaght but I think its more to show his face than an interest in football. Most Shinners have no interest in the game except for Glasgow Celtic. Also I remember SF councillors voting against several Planning Permission applications for L.O.I grounds ,they wouldnt do it for a G.A.A ground............Charlie o' Connor The Fianna Failer who lost his seat is a genuine supporter of Shamrock Rovers and goes to every home game.
Paul Connaughton attended a number of United games last season.
Aengus O'Snodaigh sat behind me in Richmond last season wearing a Pats jersey. Pat Rabbitte has always been very supportive of Rovers although I haven't seen him at a game in a long while.
Dominick Hannigan (Lab - Meath East) is a regular at Drogs.
