Does anyone know if there is an inter firm league kicking off this year, i know alot of places have closed down and some jobs let people go but surely there is enough for it to take place again this year

Its definately taking place this year but i dont think it'll be as big this year maybe one division. there was ameeting in the spotted dog last thursday for teams to enter probably be an ad in the leader tomo or wednesday.Quote:

Interfirm is going ahead starting first week in June I think.
I heard there is three divisions this year with 8-10 games plus cup so thats great news.
Yes.. 2 guest players and three contractors. Interfirm used to be taken very serious but the last few years especially this year its just going to be a bit of craic and no-one in their right minds will be taking it seriously. Its just basically a kick around and an excuse for a pss up at the end of it all. EG Dell used to have an A, B and C team now i heard they might not be entering this year? How times have changed eh.
As said ya Interfirm is notorious for ringers.. honestly its about getting 11 players on the day in most cases! Oponnents would rather that anyway rather than getting a walk over no matter what the result. Now if one team had 6 ringers or something then thats a bit much. It usually doesnt happen anyway as lads working for the company would demand a game anyway and rightly so. I'm playing anyway and should be a laugh. Its fun watching all the old lads come out of retirement and sweating after they even get changed :)

was 6-2 Chrous were missing a good few and o2 had half the prospect team who don't work with them so porb missing few actual workers
Half the prospect team? 2 players? rubbish Rafa. Chorus were terrible, but there was some crackin goals from O2. Chorus disorganised and need time to gel, lots of new faces for them. O2 have always had a handy enough team.
Fixtures were in last nights local, 2 groups. Group 1, Analog, Shannon Aerospace, HSE, An Post, Speedline, GE Money & O2. Matches Mondays & Wednesdays.
Group 2, Chorus/UPC, Iarnroid Eireann, Cook, Croom Medical, Teacher's, Perot, UL and Sykes. Matches Tuesdays & Thursdays.
