Looking forward to the SETANTA all (Dublin) Ireland Cup Final :o Last years LOI champions versus this seasons LOI pace setters.
Be nice to visit tallaght without all the baggage that attaches to a Bohs/shams encounter. Wonder how many players on the day (on both teams) were with the respective clubs when the competition started way back when ?
I'd guess that the only squad members we'll have would be Rogers, Lynch, Guy, Byrne and Haverty (and only Byrne and Rogers wouldn't have been part of the squad who qualified for it). Obviously Quigley was with us too.
last week v Bray we didn't have one outfield palyer who was with us last year.
Looking forward to the game and its a decent kick off time as well,we have played better in the Setanta Cup than we have in the league
Looking forward to it. Should be a good incounter.
And a pair of Losers medals. greedy sod...
Just wonder if its going to be possible to watch on-line? Prob be at work and dont have sh1t-anta
http://www.stpatsfc.com/report.php?report=354 for the Derry game
quigo didnt play according to that
He has played in recent games for us (most recently at Windsor) so I was sure he could not have turned out for St Pats. Gray, McGlynn and Higgins are "cup tied" even though the Derry City they played for no longer exists  given the turnover of players in the LOI (especially this pre season) playing it over two seasons was always going to affect some players.
Affected clubs last time (Derry/Linfield in 2008) when it split over the Nordie season
See you there lads :) dont really mind who wins, just like to see a good game

changed your mind then?
;) ;)
This is live on free channel MSK for anyone who doesn't have Setanta. I think it has to be tuned in via other channels on sky.
1-0 Bohs - Murphy!
GET IN
Guy's throw in routine is getting annoying already. Hope he falls on his hole next time for comedy value
This would be funnier :).

never heard of that channel msk?
What is guy's throw in like ? And was the game actually good ?
yeah guys throw was mad, great to look at, but i think they are a waste of time, as ya dont get the accuracy with them, sort of like a hit and hope job
game was good first half was even enough
thought we were better in the 2nd half and deserve to take the game to extra time at least
cronin should have been sent off as well, didnt even get a booking for what he did
rumour has it that 5 of our players got food poisoning on friday including mcallister
atmosphere was brilliant from our point of view, bohs fans wtf......... couldnt sell there allocation of tickets, no singing from you's, what happened to you's?? i remember going to pats and bohs games where both sets of fans had banter and it was full of singing and chanting etc was really disappointed in yaz yesterday

great goal from Anto Murphy and another trophy for Fenlon.
Bohs were significantly better team in the first half and could/should have gone in futher ahead than 1-0. St Pats improved a lot in the second half and had a lot of the ball without creating much by way of chances. they were the better team in the second half but never looked likely to score Tight enough game to be fair and first goal was always going to be vital.
deffo bigger support for pats on the day but cup finals more of a novelty for them ;) so not surprising they were more enthusiastic.
Still, you have all the fans and we have all the silverware :D
Anyone know what the actual prize money was this year?
i read on our message board that it was e175000.
It may have even been that high the first couple of years. it was drastically reduced when Setanta GB went bust
The Guards and stewards were a disgrace in Tallaght on Saturday, I wouldnt be surprised if this was all just heavy handed Guards making an incident out of nothing
