No thread on this match yet. Very difficult game and with Pat's win tonight we really need to start picking up points or we'll definitely be in a play-off. We'd be doing well to get anything tomorrow night, a point wouldn't be a total shock though. 1-1 or Cork win 2-1 is my prediction.
FORAS are doing a protest outside the ground til 10mins after kick-off...we'll have to out-sing them for the first 10mins anyway:D.
massive game! only 8 games to go now and the season will pass by quicky, need to get more wins together and get outa this. id be hopefully of getting a point anyway....we've got a terrible away record though. 2 wins in the league all season away
We need to forget the saturday nite carry on and get some points as we have dropped further into the mire....we saying we are better well now is the time to prove it....mid week away in the league!!!
if we could win this it would do wonders for confidence and drain all those teams around us!

To be honest, I think we're doomed to the play off now already but we have to make sure we finish ahead of Drogheda which is by no means a certainty.
I read some comments on the other thread that "We are in a dogfight now"! No sh1t lads! We've been bottom of the league or thereabouts all year in reality. We've let in more goals than any other team in the division. I think the dogfight started a long long time ago but we weren't ready for it.
A draw tonight would be a great result. We have a full squad to chose from so we have a chance of salvaging something. Possible team to start:

Anyone else notice Aertel had us 1 up after about 5 minutes, with no goalscorer name up.
i nticed that morrison was'nt on the team sheet. any thoughts. next queston how many games will boco be missing and when. he is going to be a huge loss

Great point to get last night. Delighted. Gives us a slim chance of avoiding the play offs.
bus started to smell at about 3 pm not long after gort. we made it to about 20 miles from limerick then she just wouldnt take any more. a bearing went in the back right wheel. forced to stop at a shop somehwere and wait for further developments
6 of us decided to get a taxi to cork from there. rory h got onto gerry boy and sorted it out. 230 euro in total, 40 each, and got there at half 6. the rest of the lads only made the 2nd half, our bus driver booked a local bus company to bring them from where the bus broke down. he sent a bus from sligo to cork then and that got to us at half 11 and we were home at 4. all for the worst game we've seen in years.
