TOD in the chair for the night....
TOD for Ireland.
Thanks for the reminder, almost forgot to watch our 2nd appearance of the season!:D
Liked that piece on Waterford.
Joanne Cantwell prefaced her report on Waterford-Pat's with a vox pop attempting to establish that hurling is the number one "sport" in Waterford, before referring to Utd as a "soccer team." Gah ****s like that shouldn't be allowed near the show.
Foot.ie member Digger has put on a bit of weight:D
Feck forgot it was on. *shakes fist at world of warcraft*
There must have been 40,000 at that old Harps game.
Did I head Rico saying 'Fingal County' as opposed to Sporting Fingal?
Freudian slip perhaps given their close relationship with their local authority.
The constant changing of camera angles in our match drove me mad
Another good program there tonight IMO
Class tonight well done RTE.
I thought Rico had a brilliant set of reasons for Cork loosing.......friendly against Celtic......long journey.......no overnight stay.......the pitch......the lateness of the goal.......
Of course it could not be as simple as being beaten by a better team on the night!
Im really p#ssed off:mad:
Why wasnt there a little piece done on our history in the cup:D
the RSC is lookin well on camera these days XD tis rare to be lookin forward to a blues game on tv XD loved it ^^
that ex waterford player, or waterford fan whoever he was, said 'soccer' a few times. should be shot.
dont know why they had to use soccer in the name of the show either!
Well it's a fact that a lot of people in Ireland refer to 'association football' as 'soccer'. No big deal in my opinion - after living down the country for over 3 years I know that if you say 'soccer' people think you are talking about GAA football. Have no problem with it.
Great to see the Section O faithful getting a mention during the Town game.
Honourable Mention to the Ska Battalion :D
Okay, no the pats fans looked quite well, and fair play to them, nice crowd of them.
I was waiting for that comment :D
If i asked someone down here if they were going to the football match, they'd immediately thing of gaa, mostly referred to soccer down here. Get slated in college in dublin for calling it soccer though.
Rico did say that didnt he ?
PS anyone know why Pats wore a 'snazzy' all green kit in the 1980 cup final, seems odd as Waterford wore their changed all white, even if they wore all blue it seems an odd colour for Pats, never heard of them in green before ?
Dodge ?
Has no-one ever watched Mary Poppins?
yeah the fans so spread out is aweful :p bring back the premier league ^^ sort that out ;)
I also say soccer over football and football is football and soccer is soccer ^^
