MNS or Rovers V Madrid?
(Could a mod add a poll? Can't find the option for it)
Only mods can add a poll, and then only in their forum.
Rovers v Real for me. Never got into the habit of watching MNS; just watched the UCD bits on the internet when we were on. And then I didn't want to watch those any more...
Good show though.
Both simultaneously using the wonders of the internet
I will be at the match.;)
Will watch MNS. Would be a buzz to see Real Madrid in the flesh but watching them play a pre-season game on TV will be pretty boring, regardless of location. Good luck to Shams, though.
MNS don't do first division games, so I've only watched it 3/4 times all season.
I'll be watching the Rovers/Real Madrid game. :)
Hopefully I'll see Pat Flynn crunching Ronaldo. :D
MNS - missed both Salzburg and Derry in the flesh so I have to see our twin triumphs (is an away draw a 'triumph'?) against foreign opposition in competitive matches.
MNS for me. (I only wrote 'for me' because just writing 'MNS' meant that I got a message from the system telling me that my message was too short, so I hope I have resolved that problem by now, and if I haven't I'll soon find out. Won't I?).
i will watch both, mute the annoying sky sports commentators on the net(if i find a stream) and watch some good quality loi action. MNS is my favourite sport show(closely followed by eurogoals) hell a lot of people in my class watch mns which is a very good sign.
Quite the nuisance, isn't it?
The match for me. Ex-student Ian Bermingham marking Ronaldo should be a sight to behold. I hope the groundsman has lots of sand handy.
Whatever people's throughts on the Rovers-Madrid game, it's mad watching Sky Sports and seeing constant reports from Tallagh; it really is the cente of the footballing world for one night. Wouldn't mind seeing the game but don't think I could hack going to the pub and putting up with the barstoolers, I'd get too angry.
Going to the Drogs V Dundee United friendly tonight.
I'll get them to put MNS on in the clubhouse and I'll also watch Rovers on Sky Sports online.
Do I win?
Why would anyone want to see the game on TV? I can understand, sort of, going to it, but we've all seen Real on the telly before.
both - working tonight so have choice of tellys
With the photos in the paper, I'll be watching the 2nd half (after 5-aside) to see how Christiano Ring performs with the hurl.
Rovers vs Real for me as one or two ex team mates are playing. As a previous post said, for one night, Irish football is the centre of the football world. Good interview on Sky Sports with Michael O Neill today, basically saying it was great exposure for the league. If Rovers can put up a decent performance, the name Shamrock Rovers will be known around Europe and possibly generate a renewed interest in the league, especially with Bohs in a strong European position too.
Lots of Rovers' celebrity fans coming out of the woodwork on Sky Sports...
I kind of like it that Con Murphy won't have a choice.
MNS for me...seeing Shams last Sat was enough for me!!
MNS for me so i can watch the highlights of Pats Bohs and Derry playing in proper matches
Sorry if this is posted smewhere else, can't find it. Any link to watch the rovers game online?
Rovers for me.
I never watch MNS anyway for the same reason as many other First Division fans.
MNS, I know watching Shamrock Rovers is a big thing but I think I'll manage without it this once.
I'll watch MNS, definitely would not miss the European games, and seeing Tolka Park on MNS for the first time this season will make it a "special" show.
Then at 9pm I'll watch the last half hour of Rovers-Madrid from the comfort of my living room.
I'll be flicking back and forth, MNS for the football, and over to Tallaght when the lads start ****eing on.
Rovers website has crashed....
