Class to see a packed X
I like this thread better:D
Interesting comments on Byrne. Maybe League 1 rather than Championship.
That Bray fella can hold a tune...:D
anyone watching this online? it's been on a "commercial break" since 8...
Looking forward to GOTM...they haven't shown the goals yet but Alan Keane Vs. Dundalk will win;)
Terrible mistake by Rogers, pity he wasn't like that against us..
No way did Twigg mean that!
Some 'Raiders' goal.
What a beauty from Keane!
Cook on the bench was hilarious, not even looking!!:D
Obstruction is an indirect free kick, you mongos. Can never be a penalty.
Good goals all, but it would have been nice to have a couple of nice passing moves leading up to those goals.
Bohs v Sligo :(
UCD v Waterford
Bit obvious the fanscope thing would be all about Dave Rogers arse, didn't show the flag though.
Only 2nd time I've watched this season. That intro is a disgrace.
I thought it was a good programme this week.
One question though, was Roddy holding his balls all the way through the semi-final draw? Because it looked suspiciously like he was!
One thing I did notice about Collins was that big skanger chain he had on...Classy.
And then ranting on about one of the Irish players pulling out of the team because his wedding was on the same day..
Tony O'Donoghue brought up a great point.
Why has Murphy not been called up to the Irish squad? Surely he would be considered one of our top 4 or 5 choices in nets.
The fact he has not had a mention never mind a call up when Kiely and Westwood both dropped out of the squad is shocking.
Henderson has been called up to the squad before so I don't think it's much surprise that he should be picked ahead of him. He did well enough too. Doyle is a very good goalkeeper- just error prone. I suppose it is arguable that Murphy could have been picked ahead of him. For a friendly maybe he would have been considered.
It's a fair point Stu, but if the incident in the Dundalk-Sligo game was an indirect free kick then 50% of all direct frees should be indirect. That type of incident, player coming across with no intention of playing the ball to block/charge opponent, is always given as a direct free- unless the ref bottles it. Luckily for Dundalk it balanced itself out when he bottled the Sligo pen in the first half with a free on the edge of the box instead.
You don't often notice whether it's an indirect or a direct free kick if it's outside the box (only difference is the ref holding his hand up for an indirect free, I think).
Bottom line though is the panel didn't know the basic rules of the game, and yet went off on a rant about the poor standard of refereeing.
anybody know any other way to watch MNS on line, on RTE website now and it wont play:(
Doesn't seem to be up on the RTÉ Player, but trying it in another browser usually works for me (in my case, IE.) That Realplayer crap RTÉ use is absolute garbage.
Did anyone else go "Ugh!" when they saw Roddy's shirt?
