When referring to your team as 'we', can you make sure you have a kit/crest as your avatar, or an obvious username? Otherwise, people don't know who 'we' are (surprisingly enough!)

Well, you could be a Finn Harps fan living in Cork.
Some people, like myself, have changed their settings so avaters (etc) aren't shown
I was actually backing you up...
What a curious thread.
Is this where everyone is coming to escape the heaviness of the licencing and Drogheda threads? :)
You'll have to tell us who you are, and where do you come from, first.
It would be a nice idea but then you get people like Rovers Maniac who switches his avatar around whenever he decides to switch his allegiance from Shamrock to Sligo. Or what about the people who have the league or FAI logos as their avatar: do we have to assume they are speaking on behalf of those groups?
Isn't there a Fingal fan somewhere with a Dublin City avatar...?:D
Done.
Superb thread us usual Brian :D:D:D
As I said, serious issues!
I think I last saw this arise in the licensing thread. Someone wrote, "We've got one." I couldn't for the life of me figure out which club he meant.
This...is a silly thread.

it's not a silly thread - it makes a lot of sense to be honest. especially new people here.
"We" means nothing.
Changing avatars and usernames might not be the best idea, but putting the name of your team/teams in your signature is easy enough, people rarely use their sig for much.
EDIT: I can't do this til i have a certain number of posts!
