Another one is there have been 14 goalkeepers to make a first team appearance since Schmeichel. Anyone name them?
Bosnich , Van Der Gouw , Goram , Ricardo , Taibi , Van Der Sar , Barthez , Howard , Kuscak , Foster , O'Shea , Amos , Ferdinand . Rachubka:D
Wasnt countin Ferdinand but Nicky Culkin came on in a a game in '99:cool:
Who's the spaniard?
Today FM had some eejit doing this on the radio a few weeks back and the spaniard was Rafael, who is to the best of my knowledge Brazilian.
I think there are no more nationalities to have played from the list though.
Who'd have thought there'd be no Germans on it................Ron Robert-Zieler could change that though!
or american.
The other Spanish player is Ricardo one of the 14 goalkeepers after Schmeichel.
If I remember correctly he made as debut vs Southampton at The Dell and went on to play once more for United then Barthez came back.
Nani is from Cape Verde
Could John Obi-Mikel count??? He was a registered player.............for a wet week:D
I beleive he was born in the U.S of A but has an Italian father and decided to play for them.
All good answers but i cant think of anyone to amke an appearance from Tir no n'Og? Maybe Paul Ince, He seams to have beaten age fairly well.
