I'd do it for free if he really needed someone
Shows how low Shels have sunk that the UCD manager (no disrespect to the club) wouldnt take the job at Shels, a job any manager would have jumped at 3-4 years ago. Also Roddy wont be gettin the job, he was already informed that, he thought he had it too.
Has Keely already turned it down or has he not been offered?
You know you're in a bad state when you're an out of work football manager who can't get a job with a penniless football club despite the promise of funding and nobody else is willing to take the job
Looks like they'll be calling on Bobby Browne. Maybe Billy Bagster will be his assistant. :D
Has Brian Kerr ruled himself out?
Trust me Peadar, you're more likely to get the job
Maybe Turlough O'Connor or Jim McLaughlin could be cryogenically unfrozen and brought back to 2007, Quantum Leap stylee, to manage Shels...?
Would be great to see them by the sidelines in full sheepskin and other 1970's/80's fashions.
Ollie is gonna have to look outside the EL, as it's clear the game is up for his club down Mexico way. Maybe a northern manager might be dazzled by the whole '3 leagues in 4, Champions League football' etc spiel, without knowing too much about the off-pitch problems.
And given that Shels title win was only secured on the last day of the season, you do have to wonder how bad their finances would be if they hadn't been made Champions !

Their League win may be the only reason the club is still in Existence!
As regards Pete Mahon staying at UCD , a lot of posters seem to ignore that the IAG rated UCD as the Best administered Premier Division club last season and #2 overall in the League as a whole. It's better to be in a situation where not only are the players wages guaranteed week in week out, yours are too. And also Pete is being given a full time role within the club.
