2017 Predictions League: Series 1 [24th/25th February]
The 2017 Predictions League is upon us at last and everyone is free to take part. Try to predict as much as possible as missing just one round of games can make the difference in winning or losing the title come the end of the season. So good luck to all entrants!
Points System:
2 points for result (Correctly predicting a matches outcome).
1 point for margin of victory.
1 point for a home teams score.
1 point for an away teams score
Maximum 5 points per game.
Bonus Points
The following is a list of bonus points that users will get for following positions.
1st - 10 Points
2nd - 8 Points
3rd - 6 Points
4th - 4 Points
5th - 2 Points
If 2 or more users achieve the same points tally, they will deemed the same position and if in top 5, all concerned get the full bonus points.
The user who amasses the highest cumulative points total over all games from the Premier Division and First Division will become the champion. In the event of scores been equal in the league table, those who have the better scores will be places higher. If still level, then results will come into play and if still level, the most bonus points will determine the higher user. If users still remain the exact same after all that, dead heat rules will apply.
Last season I PM'd users usually a day before the series of games began just to inform users that previously took part that time was running out. If you wish for me to send you a reminder, then just post 'Yes' in the remind part of the prediction, otherwise just put 'No'. If user does not predict in 5 consecutive series' and has previously selected 'Yes', I will no longer send them a reminder.
