6000 attandence keep it up lads the team needs us. :) :) :)
I'd say there was more than 6000 foreign gay.How often do we see the st annes end 3/4s full.
Sure you were probably unable to judge the crowd properly when you were gawking at all the young wans walking past the shed all dolled up,ya dirty fecker ya. ;)
I'd say 6000 is about right
The papers said 6,000 so i'd saw it was more!
Our seated capacity is around 5,500
1100 @ derrynane, 2700 @ St.Anne's end and 2000 @ Donie Forde
I reckon friday was roughly 1000 (gaps in Kids enclosure), 2000 and 2000 respectively, so I'd guess 5000 before the shed is taken into account, in or around 6000 sounds right.
It's very unlikey though that it was 6,000 on the button.Quote:

The figure should be something like 6,163
the 6000 figure is a newspaper estimate, there were titckets on sale at a few locations around the city, so it'll take the club a few days to get receipts back and release exact figures

sorry kid but there was 7500 at the match.your talking about 8500 capacity at the x.everywhere except the st annes end was full and that was 3/4 full.ive seen matchs with smaller crowds than last friday and they have been given at 6ooo also.so theres definitely something up.also giving the attendance at 6000 sounds like an estimated figure, they could at least have said 6893.oh sorry 6894 including the streakerQuote:

Plus, where were the visitors? I didn't see any Home Farm flags in the main stand. Has the away fans section moved??
the last game to have an attendance given around the 8,000 mark was the Ireland -v- Denmark U21 game, and that was jammers, there were people in every seat and standing on every spare patch of ground.Quote:

our capacity is about 7500 i reckon (it was only ten before the seats were put in), no way were we at full capacity
That is correct or at least the ground is limited to 7500 for safety reasons.Quote:

thats true but the attendance given for the league game against shamrock rovers 2 years ago was 8500 and it was just as jammers as the ireland game.the cup loss to derry city was given as 8900 and that was completely jointed.the st annes end even the standing end above the seats was full.so ill stick with the capacity at 8500+.it even says on the net that its between 8-9000.and as a guess its gonna be jammers for the top dublin teams.gr8 to see.bring it onQuote:

there were about 4800 siting and another 1200-1300 hundred in the Shed and rest of ground.
It would be very hard to get an exact number, but hopefully the club will let us know, either through City Edition or Citynet. Would be interesting to know.
Matters little what happoened at league cup final cos AFAIK The Cross is leggaly limited to approx 7500.Quote:

it was closed when we played Lausanne Sport wasnt it? remember all the shed lads up the saint anns next to the swiss, copying their "aaaaaaaawwwww" and outstretched arms thing. :)
