Do Andorra play all thier games in Barcelona?
The last two home games against England were played at the Lluis Companys Olympic Stadium which was Espanyol's home until last year. If we play them on a Saturday, I can't see any option but to have the game at this stadium.
They played us in the Ministad in 2001, which is another option.
I think this will be the game we draw the biggest number of supporters to.
They only play in Barcelona when a big crowd is expected.
Am I being presumptuous in thinking there will be a big crowd expected at this match? If the Andorran FA have any smarts about them, they will agree to host the Ireland at the Barcelona Olympic Stadium on Saturday the 4th of June 2011. 20,000+ travelling support guaranteed.Quote:

Bout 5 or 6 thousand if memory serves. The mini Nou holds around 13,000 I think and wasn't half full. Bit hazy though!Quote:

I think that was about right. It was mid week aswell. Spain were going to play France in Barcelona and switched the game to Valencia. I've only stood outside the Lluis Companys looking in...twice, so I'm hoping it will be played there.Quote:

I'd say it's more likely to be played in Espanyol's new ground than the Olympic Stadium (size wise )
I see Russia are playing in the Estadi Communal in Andorra according to the UEFA site. I was there in the summer and don't know how it's capable of hosting a qualifier to be honest. One stand which holds maybe 1000 - five or six rows only - and that's it. Worth keeping an eye on though.
This is our penultimate game, a game hopefully we win to qualify. If that turns out to be the scenario, I can see a geansai load of Irish wanting to go there.
Delaney said they were going to ask the Andorrans to play in Barcelona, though guess he'll leave the choice of ground to them....

Again it's a wait and see as the game is just under a year away so no rush I would say .
Not the greatest of sources, but the wiki page for our group has us down for Barcelona, with every other Andorra home game playing in Andorra

UEFA site has no venue yet albeit most games on those dates are like that.
I'm not convinced we'd be allowed play in Barcelona considering all other games are in Andorra. It would give us an unfair advantage.
