They'll be grand.
Indo reckons money still owed to 2 players.
I'm sure the FAI will punish them severely if they don't get this sorted out...
The Cork City Offiical Supporters club [CCOSC] have a fans forum tonight with Paul Doolin and Tom Coughlan, I'd hope the question will be asked at that. Personally, I'd be surprised if the rumour about two players still in dispute turned out to be true. I like to take servings of 'reliable source' with a large amount of salt.
time to impose the "ah lads wat ya at" sanction
The indo line reads; "Serious concerns remain about the future of Cork City. As of yesterday, two of their players from last year were still in dispute with the club over unpaid monies, which would suggest that the Leesiders' plans to negoiate the season ahead as a full time outfit without difficulty are just a tad optimistic. With the FAI not completely satisfied with events at turner's Cross, watch that space."
They were given 5 days to pay up money owed as the condition to being awarded the Premier licence.
I doubt very much the FAI will do anything at this stage though.
It'll be grand. The brown envelope to the licensing comittee has been sent. ;)
Sure I can guarantee you have debt
I guess we didn't spend enough money that we didn't have.
