They have had a couple of documentaries recently covering issues like housing and stuff. They style and content is very tabloid and the 'research' seemed to be a bit flakey to say the least. Dont think this will have a good outcome, thats a given in fact.
What might be a good exercise though is, if they do 'colour up' some of the facts then complain them to the BCI and see if there is any outcome.
Thats said, whatever issue that is there on this topic, its always good to address it and highlight the crap that can go on. Like Bohs fans in Derry, and is the key still thrown away.
Shower of ****ers.
Of all the things they could have dug up about the LOI.
Have barely ever watched TV3 since EL Weekly was on it, this will make me even less likely to watch it in the future.
Seems pointless to criticise in advance of the show. If it is a fair reflection then no use denying this happens.
I completely agree with you but only going on their previous 'Prime Time'esque programmes. I'll hold my hands up straight away if i'm proved to be wrong about them. That said, their the ones that have had a few programmes that were tabloid-style. They have set the standard/expectation so i'm only going on what been given to us before.
Shock horror. TV3 are producing some of their own stuff. Its one TV station that has always annoyed me for some of the trash tv it airs and sensationalist and tabloid like documentaries. It'll be interesting to see what they come up with on this.
In fairness TV3 is the television equivilent of The Sunday World so I wouldn't be too bothered by either media outlet as they have practically zero respect from most of the general population.
With regards the Tribune yes I do buy it but mainly because it's the best of a bad bunch (Sunday newspapers) but I am well aware that it is far from perfect and has a sickly tabloid aspect to it - just wish my local newsagent would stock The Sunday Sport - a great read! ;)
HOPE it wont happen.Very bad publicity..Parents MAY NOT bring kids
Anyone know if this programme is going to see the light of day yet - and if so, when ?
Given TV3's EL track record, it will no doubt be aired in the middle of the night, most of the footage will have been lost and a streetlight failure will obscure most of the action.
I look forward to Trevor Welch's analysis...
In fairness, zero content isn't 100% accurate, they did a small story on how ****ed the league was last year and in 2007 they had a picture of the Galway United -v- Sunderland friendly accompanying an article about Sunderland.
I can't comment on the last few months, I've stopped buying Sunday Papers completely because I realised (far too late) that they're all rubbish.

I think it'll be interesting to see.
"Incredibly, they have each other's mobile numbers".
Funny thing is that I find this incredible as well. Literally incredible. If Mr O'Donovan is a reporter then I assume he studied journalism and knows the meaning of the word. My on-line dictionary says it means: "too extraordinary and improbable to be believed".
He could not just have made this up, could he?
