I'd stick with Whelan and Andrews each and every day of the year ahead of what you said.

Yes, Nige. And we'll be one of the dullest teams on the planet?
Yes, but what happens if we concede first?
That's part of why we lost to Russia at home and ended up in the play-offs.
The likes of Reid or similar can't do it on their own and are a 'luxury', but every midfield needs a creative outlet. The closest we have is McClean's who's quite direct.
Otherwise our whole system is based on the strikers running from deep, which Doyle (or similar) will do despite his limitations, but it is a bit of a waste of resources when it comes to an aging Robbie...

Andy Reid getting some plaudits for helping to pull Forest out of relegation.Quote:
ANDY Reid believes he has proved his worth to Nottingham Forest, after winning over manager Steve Cotterill.
The winger became an integral figure in the Reds' climb away from trouble in the Championship, producing some match-winning performances amid the club's improvement in the final months of the campaign.
But well up the plucking order...
Surely he deserves two seats on the plane to Poland?
I think he should get a seat because he's great. In fact, I think he
should get two seats, in case one of
them doesn't work!
Lovely cross from Reid to set Blackstock up for Forest in their League Cup tie.
He tends to play a blinder every 4 years judging by his 04/05 and 08/09 season so he should be due a great season with a January transfer to the premiership again!
He looks to be in decent shape, albeit while in a headlock.

That's some belly on 'im.
When you have a good engine you need plenty of fuel in the tank.
Why does Reid need so much fuel then?
So he can score GGGGOOOOOOOOAAAAAALLLLLLLLSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!
He scored today for Forest V West Brom.
Bolton 2 Forest 2
Eagles 39′ Sordell 49′ McGugan 15′ Reid 57′
Didn't see it but just turned on the radio near the end fantastic finish apparently (off post)
according to he presenter but the pick of the goals was McGugan's, a goal of the season contender apparently.
Simon Cox of course also at Forest and Keith Andrews at Bolton.
Seems to be firing well this season, incredible player when he's on his game.
Good guitarist, too. Especially at 3 AM.
Really tidy finish from Reid too. Typical left legged curler, resulting from a lovely weighted Cox pass.
