a bit of fairness please. mccarthy has many times been unavailable for differant reasons. on top of this wigan said he wasnt properly match fit by any stretch when they bought him and had to work on him a lot. he's only back from an injury and admitedly is playing very well over the last 3 wigan matches. its up to the manager who plays and any game we have had under trap that would "tie him down" has been a must win for us where risking an unproven inexperienced player would be a massive riskQuote:

The conservatism and delay in getting new talent into the squad is just tiring and disappointing to me.
