I fancy according to pete - cheltenham in 15 mins.... (13.50) 6-1 betfair
love the ol' lunchbreak flutter.
Deportivo@2.8 tomorrow seems too big to me.
Haven't posted here in a while as I bet motly in play but I'm having a decent bet on Serhiy Lebid to win the men's European Cross Country title tomorrow at 3/1
He's won this race 8 times and its basically his Olypics. He's a great CC runner but prefrs to concentrate on something he can win, like this and prefers heavy ground (as opposed to main rival Britain's Mo Farah)
Leopardstown: Rites of Passage, Alaivan and Sizing Europe all odds on favourites who look good for the win.
Kempton: Kauto Star is the obvious choice, also Starluck is overpriced imo and has a great chance of winning.
Limerick: going for Coolcashin in the 2:10, I'd have him priced closer to evs so I think he is really good value in this one
I am going for .................
Go Native 7/4
Cross Appeal 9/2
Vodka Brook 8/1
obviously Kauto will win
AAchen 12/1
Carruthers 5/1, a horse who has won for me in the past:)
Thought id share this, so I meet AP McCoy in the Airport yesterday and ask him for a tip.. Surprisingly he says 'hang on' and makes a phone call and comes back to me and says 'Sang Bleu 245 chepstow, banker' and winks... He was a gentleman but the horse came second.. Its lucky im not a big gambler!
(Sorry if this is considered after eventing or something, but I just found this thread and meet jockeys/trainers all the time)
Only betting for fun at the minute, but putting a small bit on Villa tonight ht/ft @ 11/2.
A bit speculative, but I reckon they should have too much for Liverpool.
Think 7/4 villa is a bit of value couldnt have Liverpool at 11/8 or so
Arsenal -2 tonight is 17/10 with Paddys. Bolton are dire at the back and Arsenal will cut them open time and time again. The only issue is will they finish enough of their chances. I'd predict a 4-0 win for Arsenal.
Game is off.
Doing a 5 game accumulator tomorrow.
Hamilton v Rangers
Real Madrid v Mallorca
Tenerife v Barcelona
Xerez v Valencia
At. Bilbao v Malaga
Seabass, Navan 15:15 (NAP)
Palace Merano, Navan 15:45 (NB)
Singles and a cheeky double.
Man Utd will win tonight - Paddys have them at 10/11 to go through. Fantastic price.
United completely outclassed City in the 1st leg and I can't see anything but a United victory tonight.
Small E/W punt gone on that solely on you lads' recommendation!
Shuil Dearg, 19:00 Dundalk.
Anywhere doing specials this year in league of Ireland, William Hill had some match-ups last year but can't find anything this year
kaka 12/1 with PP to score direct from a free kick (not a peno) looks like a nice bet
Sworn Tigress 8.50 Wolverhampton. Owned by Alex Ferguson and expected to win this one. 11/8 was what I got on it from PP. The lad who I got this from has been bang on with his last two tips and won me a few quid.
Huge money been pumped onto that one alright Longfordian. Will probably have a few quid myself.
Good man Longfordian it won easily by all accounts. Entered again for tomorrow night.
Yep happy days are here again. Will have a look and see what the experts reckon re tomorrow but it's probably worth an e/w punt at least again.
It's been pulled out of tonights race, connections obviously made their fortune last night!
Well of Echoes, 8.35 Wolverhampton. 2/1 with PP at the moment.
Drogs 4/5 to win tonight against a weaker Bray team.....................surely................... ......
Isn't there a fair chance Drogheda will be weaker than usual as well though?
I'm exactly the same, was going rightly for ages but this year I just can't seem to call anything right!
Matsunosuke, 14:45 Folkstone.
Big drop in class here and hasn't suffered too much with the handicap. Should win this one.
Considering the number of suspensions affecting Dundalk, I'm having a punt on Fingal at just better than evens on the Draw No Bet market tonight.
Against Drogheda tonight we've 3 out injured, with another doubtful. As well as that, we've 4 suspended. One of our better players Melligan has also left the club.
With this in mind I'm tipping:
Lay Dundalk at 1.82 on Betfair (larger bet).
Back Drogheda at 5.5 on Betfair (smaller bet).
If you don't have a Betfair account, the prices with Paddy Power are 2.0 for double chance draw/Drogheda or 4.75 just for Drogheda.
Lads, Bray are massively over-priced away to Fingal tonight. For them to draw or win, that's 6/4 with PP. Through a bit of skillful manipulation using PP's draw-no-bet option and Betfair's draw market, I've gotten odds of about 5/2 on Bray picking up a result. Fingal seem to be fading a bit, conceding 4 against us without Amond is awful. I wouldn't read too much into their late fightback, we obviously were already in the dressing room with 15 mins to go! Bray have really picked up and are playing with nothing to lose right now.
Obviously this isn't cast-iron, but well worth a shot.
Don't know if anyone is following this, but a tipple on Sofia Arvidsson to win in straight sets might be decent today.
