the posts on this are gone to s**t, its not a site slaggin site for supporters, fair play to anyone who supports a lower team is harder to do than all the big boys do,lets get back to football and the fai(that what this post is about). Anyone hear of any upsets around the country the wknd, alot of big names left in the draw this year its probably been the strongest in years considerin nearly all of the top teams are left no? could be some tasty draws, :D
heard tonight carew v regional is off someone passed away belong to one of the clubs.
Back to the fai lads, playing fairview sunday at home should be a good match if we have full team. How are doing in the premier, i know tere not the team of old but still have very good players playing with them. Saw picture in leader last week of john white in fairview gear is he back playing with them. Anyone think we could cause an upset or are we just going out to fulfill fixture, i reckon we could do it(fingers crossed):) :) :)
If you can stop gaga, J.lyne and r.cosgrove you have a great chance

No Way Will Carew Park Be Win Cant Even See Them Beating Regional
Just My View, think Regional Will Have 2 Much For Them At Present
Westport have the hardest draw and they will have their work cut out in Dublin against Portmarnock, will do really well to get anything there but you never know. Celtic's draw not as hard as it looks on paper, Fairview will probably beat Wembley but they're not the power they were a few years ago, still hard one though. At least Ballina are at home to a Kerry team, not to be taken lightly as game has really progressed there but the Town are probably the best bet of the four Mayo teams to advance. Erris haven't done well away from home in the competition in recent times and they're away in Dublin again.
Any idea on when these games will be played?
I see that the view v wembley match is off this sunday,, Unfortunately somebody from one of he clubs has passed on... any new son whom? and what club?
Our managers wifes mother died yesterday, joan considines mother, so they decided to call it off due to respect.
Good To Hear Respect Being Shown....fair Play To Fai...
who are hillington? did a google cant find anything on them......are either kilumney or hillington up to much?
Lads any info on St james Gate?? we have them in the next round. Presume its not their first team as they are a senior league team. What team represents them in this competition and what league do they play in? Any info is appreciated. For what its worth I think the usual suspects will challange again this year but Killester must be standing out as favourites considering their great run and experience in the senior cup.
Porto V Westport United is on the 17th December.
Good luck to the Mayo clubs in the next round even the gray one just to keep him busy.
Lets hope westport fly the flag:)
carew 3 regional 2
pike 3 ul 1:D
Enjoyed carew V Mungret.. Both team gave it their all in trying conditions. Carew had the smarter players, but regional missed 2 sitters in the 2nd half..one player in particular for mungret did not seem to want to know about it..No7. you need every player to contribute in these matches and in those conditions...
a game of two halves at the pike field dictated by the wind. Aishling 1-0 at half time and just about deserved it. pike dominated the second half and ran out deserved 3-1 winners. Theres a long trip to sligo next weekend.
