Is it 10% minimum of tickets for away fans for FAI cup games?
Of the final 8, any of the remaining Premier clubs should bring a big crowd if they make the final. If any of the First Division clubs were to cause unlikely shocks, the final mightn't draw the high attendances of recent years. Maybe Donegal people might get behind Finn Harps in big numbers. It will take a massive spike in support for Kerry, especially in a season where any opportunity to challenge for the playoffs hasn't caught fire.
We’re getting 270 tickets so nearly 20%
They have a port and an airport, no need for woke trains
I saw a train driving around Letterkenny when i was up there.
To be fair there were mostly kids on it and there was a clown driving it............still a train though ....technically
The Sligo match has now sold out - unsurprising, but good to see a week in advance.
Ye need to find some way of increasing capacity down there really
Perhaps, but only something we've to worry about twice a season for now - if we're pushing for playoffs next year, it might be a different matter!
Excited and nervous about tomorrow. Tourish and Hutchinson massive losses which might give Cork the advantage though. Hopefully get a big crowd in
Ah sound, didnt realise it was on.
Thats Friday sorted.
It will be a close affair
Big game tonight in Finn Park
You'd say Cork are the favourites but if Harps can play to their best there is every chance they'll progress. Harps will be without Conor Tourish and Max Huthison though who have been too of their most consistent performers this year. Was told last week there would be over 1oo cork fans travelling but just heard yesterday it now expected to be round the 50 mark. Hopefullly there will be a big home crowd god know Harps could do with a bit of cash inflow
The game of the round for many comes in Sullivan and Lambe Park as Cup holders Drogheda United face formidable Shamrock Rovers.
Kerry v Sligo and Colin Healy said it will be an "interesting" encounter as 1,200 fans get set to pack into the small Tralee venue.
Battling for survival are Cork City who make the long trip north to meet Finn Harps.
St Pat's face out of form Galway United in Richmond Park on Sunday evening.
Any predictions!
Rovers, Cork, Sligo and St.Pats to go through.
O dear, C Byrne states that foul by the Shamrock R player is just a yellow card, and the ref is very experienced. Have folks seen some of the decisions by this ref this season; penalty for Derry v Galway up in the Brandywell for example. Lets say that tackle was on a Shamrock's player in a game in Tallaght, I think/expect the result would be a red. Decent game.
Incredible finish from a centre half Andrew Quinn!
Harps just didn't turn up tonight. Tourish and Hutchison ended up being badly missed. Two really poor goals given away early and we never recovered.
Good crowd in Finn Park despite the horrendous conditions too.
Massive upset in the Kingdom
Sligo just do not fancy first division opposition in the cup these last few years. Kerry, Wexford and twice in a row by Longford
Fair play to Kerry, amazing comeback! Some absolutely dreadful penos up in Drogheda should probably see the cup land in Tallaght this year now sadly
Incredible from Kerry fair play to them!
As said above a terrible start from us and we were never getting back in the game,on a positive note Treaty lost so our season isn’t dead yet….
