If any of the First Division clubs were to cause unlikely shocks, the final mightn't draw the high attendances of recent years. Maybe Donegal people might get behind Finn Harps in big numbers. O dear, C Byrne states that foul by the Shamrock R player is just a yellow card, and the ref is very experienced. Have folks seen some of the decisions by this ref this season; penalty for Derry v Galway up in the Brandywell for example. Harps just didn't turn up tonight. Tourish and Hutchison ended up being badly missed. Two really poor goals given away early and we never recovered.
Good crowd in Finn Park despite the horrendous conditions too.
