Lots of fixtures out and watergrasshill not down for any… bit strange really
A disgrace but what can ya do
Drinagh gave Clon walkover in semi so it’s Grattan v Clon in final I’m hearing.
Registrations seem to be taking a long time this year. Anyone have any updates on why?
Watergrasshill are the new aghabolaghhhhgford with the favours from the league. They probably agreed to go premier if they can have a later start because they are in the middle of championship at the moment and have had a few big wins
Ridiculous carry on by Peppermint and committee allowing that take place. You don't have that in MSL / CBL.
They won't win it but if that happened like Coachford through the years, it's an unfair playing field.
Be a great laugh with only 8 teamsinnthe league.
UCC will be babysat.
I'd agree with Ger , I'd say the agreement to promote the Hill was done on the basis that they don't clash with the gaa,,,,,,dosent bother me anyway because they will struggle soon as its big game week after week and not 2 or 3 at the end of a season.
Coachford will have played more games in the league by next week than they did last by December. Bate that.
There's going to be a unbeliveable mess some weekend if the gaa clashes with the football.
The return is to play Premier. All teams should have the same chance, not manipulated by fixtures. The usual phone calls and suspected fast ones will continue. We've seen it in the first fixtures already across the divisions.
Anyway, some tasty games in the next couple of weeks to look forward to.
Whilst im against anyone having an unfair advantage.
I’d like the league to be as competitive as possible for all.
If it meant delaying the start by 3 weeks so be it.
Play the mossie 1st two rounds, the city and county cup two rounds there is ways around it.
Why does Paul pepper get the blame for everything on this page, he is (quote me if I’m wrong) the newest member of the committee.
If not the newest one of the newest anyway.
The season starts tomorrow and I’d like to wish all clubs the best of luck for the coming season.
Hopefully our league produces (as normal) most teams progressing in the MJC and fai cup out of all the cork leagues and again produce great rivalries throughout the divisions.
I think with who they brought in Coachford could go very far in the big cups(MJC FAI ) I’d go as far as saying they won’t be far from finals.

Third newest and fourth season. Same problems.
So he should walk in and tell them all he is the new sheriff in town.
That’s ridiculous
I’d be inclined to agree with Goal here.
Mr Pepper is one of the more pro active guys there he pushes the social media he is approachable will help out where possible.
The AUL is improving maybe not quickly enough for some people’s liking.
And let’s be honest they are crying out for more people to get involved at board level I see no queues forming with people offering to help out.
Goal, you're pleased as you have your preferential treatment on tap. You know how to play it and it works for you, well done.
He's in charge of fixtures and that's him alone. Fixtures are openly giving advantages and disadvantages which are strictly against the rules of the game. As critical everyone is with the top man, you know he's the same with everyone. Salt isn't.
There are a lot of examples of poor behaviour with certain Clubs and buddies having different treatment. I will leave it at this.

In fairness to Paul , his done well with the midweek fixtures putting local teams together for the 645 kick off.
Hope teams are working on the fai connect system !
Any team in the league can pick up the phone and paul and he will do his best to help unlike previous Aul members and Gunner your spot on with fixtures hope Paul keeps that up sending teams all over Cork midweek what we have dealt with for years has being a joke.

Best of luck to all involved.
Saw donoughmore a few times last season, unless they have added players I think they will struggle in top division.
Village castleview should be a cracker - 2teams tipped to do well and both have added in the summer
Strand Waterloo aswell tomorrow- I reckon a draw
Village are under huge pressure to produce the goods.
They have done incredible work to the dressing rooms.
And there advertising new signings on social media has been a breath of fresh air and brilliant for the club and the AUL league.
the work lenny has done to get such a high quality squad together is a testament to his hard work over the last 18 months. BUT and it’s a big but.
If they fail to get a result against Castleview they have to then travel to Coachford which is a daunting task for anyone.
2 games no points won’t look good and league over.
I genuinely hope that doesn’t happen but it’s not an impossibility
For many years Iv told players who has played for me lose two games in Premier and you could be out of league any player on here that had played will confirm cause as coachford knocka and grattan can go unbeaten so I think it’s a must for Village and View to get off to go start our else you could be playing for places in this division Village v View should be done game tho two teams look excellent on paper.
As for grattan and Donoughmore
Tough start for Donoughmore they will find this one hard. It’s probably the worst start they could have had. Best of luck to them.
That’s my point Scaffa
It’s a huge game for both teams but I just feel village have been more vocal about there prep for the season ahead it just puts that bit more pressure on them.
There is no doubt about it though, it’s the strongest premier league in nearly a decade tbf and it will be some year
Will try to go up and watch the game after work tomorrow as it be interesting match to see how the season starts especially with the strength of the two teams, agree with you about the pressure being more so on village after all there hard work promoting socials and the dressing room and I know castleview are missing two and village missing the new guy murphy up top, also how are they getting so many people helping out with the dressing rooms for free haha my old club from my playing days could do with some of them helping out!
