That's a great win for Crusaders. Beating Lithuanian opposition home and away is great for them.
Adam Rooney has scored a hat trick already for Aberdeen tonight too.
Did Crusaders in a double with Dundalk, bet Dundalk will get a draw now, ha
The Last time 3 LOI clubs played on the same night was in July 2011:
(Bnei Yehuda 0-1 Shamrock Rovers; Dundalk 0-2 Levski Sofia; Sporting Fingal 2-3 Marítimo)
Also, 3 LOI clubs have never progressed on the same night.
Derry 1-0 up through Michael Duffy after ten minutes. Good start.
2-0; Barry McNamee. Aberystwyth are nearly as bad as that Brazil crowd!
Although this Welsh crowd don't seem to be up to much still a good result for Derry, like Dundalk last week any win away in Europe is a good result.
Hat-trick for Adam Rooney in Latvia for Aberdeen, to follow on from Niall McGinn's goal in the first leg. 8-0 on aggregate there.
Ocean FM just talking about "Gareth" Brooks.
Any word on how Sligo are doing? 0-0 at the moment, but better/worse/level/what?
Edit - forgot about extratime.ie. Duh. Seems quiet, with Sligo better early on, but since then Rogers has touched a free onto the post.
1-0 Sligo, just on half time.
Though there was still time enough left for Banga to go very close in reply. Still far from safe for Sligo obviously.
Glenavon 1-0 down within two minutes. 4-0 on aggregate now. All four goals kind of coming in the last ten minutes (merging the two games into one)
1-0 to Fundalk that's all 3 teams winning
Good start by Dundalk
1-0 Dundalk.
Just like Sligo, Dundalk almost concede an equaliser straight away.
When did three LoI sides all win on the same day?
3-0 Derry. 7-0 on aggregate. Isn't that equalling the LoI record? (Rovers against an Icelandic/Luxembourgese team back in the early 80s I think?)
Fram Reykjavik I think. I was at the first leg.
Them's the ones.
(Fram, not Farm - presume that's a mobile phone typo! They just got knocked out by an Estonian team tonight)
Drive105 saying James McClean in the middle of the Derry crowd joining in the singing.
4-0 Derry
2-0 Dundalk
Would still like a second in Sligo
2 team through at this stage, Sligo could do with killing their game off asap.
Bloody hell. Penalty Derry.
Imagine if Derry were any good.
5-0 Derry
Banga down to ten men
All looking amazingly good.
Patterson scores a penalty to get his hat-trick and makes it 5-0 to Derry.
Banga only have four subs for some reason.
Apparently LoI teams have never had three ties on the same night and won them all, or kept a clean sheet in all, or (as TheBoss noted earlier) won through in them all.
2-0 Sligo!
All over there. 3-0 Dundalk too. Amazing night.
Sligo score another. And Dundalk. It's raining goals.
2nd for Sligo. It's like the good old days tonight!
5-0 is the biggest ever away win for a LOI team in Europe.
So Rosenborg, Shakhtar Soligorsk and Hajduk Split. Does the law of averages call for one team to win through?
Sligo should have no chance. Would have thought Derry's opposition is easier than Dundalk's, but then Dundalk are the form team.
Don't know if these results mean LoI teams are more likely to be seeded next season (depending on which teams get through of course)
Edit - sure two of the teams were seeded this season. Duh...
3-0 Sligo.
Dundalk talking about their record win, against the same Fram as before.
11-0 on aggregate tonight for the LoI.
Someone confirm this for me: with the Derry result, if things stay the same for Sligo and Dundalk, do we have a higher co-officient already this year than three of the last four years? (1.375, compared to 0.250 last year, 1.000 the year before, less than the 1.500 the year before that, 1.000 the year before that again.)
Mick McCarthy is an interested spectator in Oriel Park this evening.
18-0 now.
4-0 Sligo
