Best wishes for a full and speedy recovery to Johnny Corbett. A fine player and sound bloke.
You'd imagine it will be replayed, if as u said 60 mins was all that was played , u cant legislate for bad injuries and long hold up but in all fairness.. Surely there was no need to have two more evening games , wer wat ahead id scheduale in terms of games played by now. Tough luck on moyross with all the serious injuries seems Like yer cursed at the minute. Some of the injuries fellas are gettin out there are ver very nasty
Ya Booster Shannon Town have a new pitch. They opened it last year. It's about a 3 minute walk from Corrib Drive.
It's a good pitch alright if i'm not been bias. The club have spent a lot of money on it in the last 2/3 years.
If i remember correctly Zizou made his come back for Granville on it last year.
1A cup starting 2moro night is it earlier than usual ?
any result from tonights cup game lads?
Shannon won 3-2
Any match report from last nights game Shannon Town V Caherconlish ?
Shannon 3 Caherconlish 2. Good game of football last night, must say the pitch last night was in great condition. We went 1 up with a good finish by Ken Buckley. We should have added another 1 or 2 before Caherconlish scored to make it 1 all. They had another great chance to go 2-1 up but there center forward hit the crossbar with his header. Gary O Connell put us 2-1 up with a super finish. 2-1 HT. Early in the 2nd half there keeper pulled off a good save to keep it 2-1. Carherconlish upped there game & missed a few good chances to equalize. They got a deserved equalizer with about 25 mins to go & then had a good shout for a peno which was not given. Danny Sweeney scored the winner from a corner with about 15 mins to go.
Good report there gerardkelly..I went in to watch this game last night and as a neutral I can't understand how both clubs are in bottom half of table., an excellent nights entertainment even if it did get fairly heated in last 15-20 mins..both sides really went for it full trottle.that claim for a penalty in my opinion was not a penalty defender clearly got the ball even the forward didn't argue.ref might have given a back pass though .i can't believe a premier team haven't poached the number 9 for caherconlish. They called him Rooney could be a nickname .. Some player.. All in all well worth the €5 in.. Must also agree that the pitch looked immaculate best I've seen it in a while ..

Caherconlish 3-2 Summerville ...Wet morning but the pitch held up great was always going to be a tough game, We took lead around half hour mark with a curler from outside the box , Well deserved too although was fairly even up to that point, Summerville equalised from a free kick the slipped through our keepers hands unluckily ., But we notched again just before half time to go in 2-1 ahead, Played our best bit of football all game to score the 3rd one, summerville rattled us for the last half hour and pulled one back but we managed to hold on thank god our 1st 3 points of the season and 2nd win in the space of a week onwards and upwards from here on out
I know hes a big fella and all but even thats a bit of a stretch for him
Hi i didn't say nothing to you at all .......calm down like...I was on bout Rooney not you

Nothin wrong with the manager.. All down to players in fairness and I wouldn't use it as a hard excuse cos it's the same for every club but wer crippled with injuries, down 5 bodies again yesterday, starting off games at walking pace.. Robbie kelliher is after signing back tho.. Still think we'll come good
Joe should still be playing! I thought ye missed him in the middle big time the day we beat ye. I'm sure he'll be a good manager aswell.
Thats a good signing for ye also. Lot of ball to be played yet, but the way teams are taking points from each other, it is going to the wire.
Predictions:
Ballynanty Rvs B 2 v 3 Summerville
Dromore Celtic 2 v 2 Fairview Rgs B
