It's pointless even trying to explain simple concepts to most people here, I didn't "defend" a team. The question was asked how they got on, comments were made which were incorrect, I corrected the information and added more facts to the discussion. As it happens, I wasn't at the match but I spoke with someone connected to the team who was, and they told me that 16 togged.

So what, big deal if Galway had 4 lads playing LOI or Oscar Traynor, a lot of League Of Ireland clubs are just glorified junior teams anyway, Merview are no world beaters. Kennedy steppin onto the field of play durin the game to blatently elbow/shoulder Gary Flynn while he was runnin down the wing is an absolute disgrace, im sure a lot of people will be glad to see the back of him. who does he think he is anyway. I still think lifford will stay up though, there is two worse teams than them for sure. No surprise Niall White got sent off either, he seems to think he's an untouchable hardman on the pitch. the club are better off without him anyway, he swans in for games now and again while there's no gaa on thinkin he's the man. I could be wrong on this but I think yesterday was only his 2nd game for lifford this season and his other game was against rock rovers - he was sent off in both
