roddy collins made that exact same point that rovers1 made on mms.. it doesnt make sense what buttimers problem is... mind you he was an awful **** to us over the years.. and i cant belive hancocks still reffin...
Begining to think Pat's stubbornness was to do with the fact a huge amount of fans wouldn't have been in Richmond in time for a 19:45 k/o due to their joke of a ticketing system and they refused to change jersies to delay it to ensure they didn't miss k/o.
only to ensure the sponsors are in line with eircom league sponsors and that they are aware of any potential conflict in colours however the referree has the final say on match day and every club knows this, also this is the kind of thing that has made the league a laughing stock for twenty years so althought i agree buttimer is a asre so to is the clubs for letting this happen
A new twist to the colours clash last Friday.
Some professor from Plymouth has just been on the Ray D’Arcy Show who has completed an extensive research project on English Football over the past fifty years or so and his findings prove conclusively that teams wearing RED win more matches than teams wearing other colours such as blue. It is quite obvious that Brian Kerr has spent the entire close season studying this report and he insisted on St. Pat’s wearing their Red jersey’s and further proof – if it were needed – that the Dublin Clubs get preferential treatment over the country clubs.
What colour does your team wear then REDie?

That pretty much says it all - a clear case of GRS.*
* Grandstanding ref syndrome.
God, the Paddy Power 'logo' really is an eyesore.
