I dont know, its a reasonably high profile job in europe,and as he said, he wants to be in europe. If he is genuine about what he says in the sunday sh1tewipe above, then he would be ideal. I like the idea of a dutchman (is martin Jol stil in the frame/was he ever?) in charge and I think it would be the change that may turn things around. If we are to have a chance of qualifying a very fresh approach is needed - he'd get my vote anyways.Quote:

Arie Haan has a better chance of getting somewhere with Albania than he would have with our dis-organised rabble. Should be easier to knock them into a decent team.
Am glad he didn't figure in the Ireland shakeup - his record across Europe isn't exactly stellar, he seemingly has trouble with staying in one job for an extended period of time & that whole palava with his agent just seemed more mercenary than necessary. A dutch manager would be nice, but not any old idiot with a pair of clogs :)
