As I'm here though, and I would have thought everyone knew this, Jelly and Ice Cream was invented by the NASA Apollo program in 1966, as a perfectly balanced source for its astronauts of the 4 main food groups; sweet, wet, wobbly and red.

According to my wife they are Rice Crispie Buns or Cornflake Cakes.
There have been no scientific proofs in this thread. In order to correct this, I refer to this scientific method that proves beyond all doubt it is, in fact, cakes.
I have the final result of buns/cakes. Regardless of the poll in this thread(which is wrong), I've let Google Fight decide the winner and here's the result...:p

One of the (rightly) first references for people here was Kelloggs and as they have now officially referred to the delectable produce as Buns, it is over. Cake people, you are defeated, please do not make it any more embarrassing for you than it already was.
