Fairview should get wrap on the knuckles for keeping a lad out of football so petty of them.Quote:

Dave got a lot out of Fairview ( Fai medal & Irish cap) and I not saying he didn't contribute or deserve to getting those.
But as a matter of respect he should abide by the club rules, I'm sure that he was getting travel allowance to come in and out of Shannon for the last couple of years and another 28 miles wouldn't of killed him.
Fair play to Fairview..........Bet he'd still be there if they were still in the FAI ,

This begs the question do the Fairview officials talk to each other , examples of points being lost because of administration errors would suggest not. As for travel expenses that is between Davy and Fairview and as for his FAI and Irish cap this was a symbiotic relationship where both club and player have gained. Davy Walls talent would have got him that cap wherever he was playing. As for the respect aspect I think Fairview should look at how they treat, at a minimum the player that has represented them , but at least the club they are dealing with in these matters. Sadly they seem to have failed on both counts here.
No doubt davey is a class act but i doubt he would have got capped if it was not for playing in the latter stages of the FAi with FairviewIf Fairview were still in the FAi i reckon Davey would still be with em.Quote:

so i take it he wont be getting his xmas bonus like the other view players:rolleyes: :rolleyes:Quote:
