Surely someone has the draw
If the draw is made, out with it!! Why not release it immediately? Clubs with long journeys needs to make arrangements.
Dont think the draw is been made till all round 3 games are finished also looks like the won't be played on the weekend of 23rd
Lads I'm hoping someone can clear this up, there seems to be a lot of talk about the 3rd round draw needing to be played out before the release the 4th round draw proper, generally speaking what round is the open round !
I'm asking because the Cork section has 14 teams left after the 3rd round an I was/ am under the impression that would have to be whittled down to 7 in order to be encluded in the open draw or is the 4th round now the open draw, can anyone clear this up please
All I know is in mayo we are heading in to round 4 which we have been told is open draw...
Here in the Desmond/Kerry/clare its the 5th round is the open draw
Traditionally it's the 5th round is the open draw but I'd say it's all dependant on how many sides enter originally will dictate how many rounds you will play before you get to the open draw, it's a sad sign of the times but it's a reality that clubs are folding, cost cutting plays a major part these days in entering a competition where only the best will progress.
Of this season only 600 roughly entered
1st round 300ish left
2nd round 150ish left
3rd round 75ish
4th is about right so for the open round
